I think I'm in the minority of liking this version more than the Korean version. I liked the changes and added plots in the cdrama version. Both are great dramas, but I liked the plot and characters a bit more here.

I've become obsessed with him and Sun Zhenni at the same time so I really hope one day they have a drama together.

Confesses that he's not her husband? You might be disappointed. Or confesses that he loves her? I think that was around ep 22-23.

It's good. I highly recommend the novel though. I personally think the novel is better, but maybe it's because I read it first.

so... i binged this... and when I say binged, I mean I didn't sleep. I went straight through. which is actually possible when you are in almost double speed and you skip all the cousin/uncle scenes.
anyway... so good!

There's barely anything in the book about him being a demon king. I hope that's different in the show.

So I just read the book (a good samaritan linked it in the Discussions) and if you haven't read it yet, I highly recommend.

On ep 2: the dad is toxic af. Not saying mom is blameless but in that relationship, I'm thinking he's the main problem.

I think it would be a missed opportunity if he wasn't cast with Lomon as brothers in a project.

On ep 21... y is no one questioning the butterfly thing... I mean DM had butterfly clips and WP has butterflies all over his lobby at his company... and has a bunch of butterflies?

I really like that this drama sets up very early on that it's pretty obvious to the viewers who that bad guy is. It's not going to try to subvert tropes.

I'm really sad that I dropped this. I really wanted to like it but couldn't get past the flaws. The pacing is so slow, the leads go back and forth so much and don't stick to anything they say, neither has any self-respect, and I couldn't even get engaged with the medical or emergency situations.
I really wanted to finish because of Yang Yang and the rest of the cast... but... alas.

WHY ONLY ONE EPISODE TOMORROW AND WEDNESDAY!!!! 😭😭
