Those characters didn't do anything for me, the rapper was annoying though committed to his role, the crypto scammer was boring and a deadbeat soon to be dad. His pregnant ex girl was just there to be used for dramatic effect. The mother / son duo was unnecessary. The trans woman – her story was understandable but nothing new (maybe new for Korea) and tbh, the actor who played Hyun Ju, I couldn't really see him as anything other than himself. He never really immersed himself into the role if you ask me.

I found the character backstories in the first season to be more compelling, as they intricately wove the lives of each character together, highlighting their past interactions before entering the games and when they came out temporarily before going back in. This connection made me feel a stronger bond with them. In contrast, Season 2 initially offered excitement due to the unpredictability, but ultimately felt anticlimactic when compared to the first season. I was indifferent to the characters' deaths, as many of them frustrated me, especially since they chose to remain in the game. Additionally, Gi Hun's decision to return for a second round seemed illogical; he failed to change anything. In my opinion, he was far more relatable in Season 1, where his motivations were rooted in his love for his mother and daughter. I don’t like how he seemingly sacrificed his family in his quest for revenge.

He didn't do anything with the blood money. The consequences are dire, with more lives lost, and I can only imagine the weight of guilt he will carry. My heart goes out to the fools who followed him on his suicide mission. He got his friend killed. Also the man with the sick daughter who begged to be spared then died. That poor baby will never see her father again, until she dies too 💔

Honestly, I have my doubts that S3 will be any better, but let’s just wait and see... It feels like assembling that team was a total waste of time. Gi Hun? Seriously, what was he thinking? HE IS SO STUPID. The guy didn’t even bother to prepare before diving back into the games. He’s way too trusting and just can’t keep his mouth shut. They should have had a full proof way to track him; revealing that secret was a rookie mistake. And don’t even get me started on Jun Ho—he’s infuriating! He knows his brother is pulling the strings, yet he still withholds information? You really can't trust anyone in this show. If ppl think it’s going be a happy ending. Spoiler alert: it won’t. Almost everyone will probably die.

The whole military operation felt like a pointless scavenger hunt, and that sailor? Ugh, if he has no haters, I am dead. Most of the characters are downright unlikable this time around. Last season had so much more depth; the only compelling stories were about the terminally ill little girl and her dad, and that North Korean woman, No Eul, who was somewhat intriguing. But once again, they tell us instead of showing us. Honestly, she should just join forces with Gi Hun and take down In Ho but I think Jun Ho will get in the way. His brother can't be saved so I think he has to die. Lastly, the games themselves were pretty lackluster this season. Overall, it was just... meh 😑
