Review When the Phone Rings Spoiler
I’ve read that review and with every paragraph and even a sentence I smiled wider and wider as it resonated…
That's amazing to hear! I'm thrilled that my review resonated with you. It's always gratifying to know that my thoughts and opinions have connected with someone else's. Your enthusiasm is infectious - I'm glad I could help put a big smile on your face bc reading this comment did the same for me 🥰

I love how you described the drama as "not a showpiece, but definitely a jewel" - that's such a great way to put it! It's clear that this drama has left a lasting impression on you, and I'm happy to have been a part of that experience.

Thanks again for reading 🥹💗

Review Lovely Runner Spoiler
I’m at episode 3 (started it out of curiosity) and as an adult disabled person I totally agree with you on so…
Aww, thank you so much for sharing your thoughtful and personal perspective so far. It's invaluable to hear from someone with lived experience as a disabled adult.

I completely agree with you. Sol's character felt one-dimensional and her storyline was underwhelming. Her sole focus on saving Sunjae overshadowed any potential character growth, family relationships, or personal development. It's frustrating when a character's potential is wasted on a single plot point.

I empathize with your frustration with the narrative, and it's disappointing to see a missed opportunity for more nuanced and meaningful representation. The portrayal of disability as a limitation or an obstacle to be overcome can be damaging and perpetuate negative stereotypes.

Your point about being disabled not being the end of the journey is so important as it is just one part of a person's journey. Disabled individuals have rich, complex lives, and it's essential to show that in media. It's also crucial to highlight the unique strengths, resilience, and wisdom that often come with navigating a world that isn't always accessible.

I appreciate your distinction between enjoying certain aspects of the series (like the visuals, soundtracks, and actors) while criticizing the narrative. It’s good to have mixed opinions, but it's also essential to hold creators accountable for their representation.

If you do decide to drop the series, I completely understand. Your time and emotional energy are valuable, and it's essential to prioritize content that resonates with you and respects your experiences.

I hope you also know that your voice matters, and sharing your perspective can help create a more inclusive conversation around disability representation.

Once again, tysm for reading my review. It really means a lot to me that you understand where I'm coming from 💗

Wow what a long and in depth review. I enjoyed this drama too, if not for 2nd and 3rd kidnapping, the Argan plot…
Thank you for your comment! 💗 It is indeed unfortunate that the controversy has somewhat tarnished the overall appreciation and buzz surrounding this drama...

Although I haven't read the novel, I've seen various comments where people were discussing its plot. I think that without the filler scenes, 12 episodes would have been perfect. Instead, they spent too much time on unnecessary material and hurried through the final 2-3 episodes. I usually enjoy sad endings too, but I wouldn't have enjoyed it here 😭

So u r telling me 155+ people took the time to read this in 24 hrs but not one bothered to drop a comment?!! Fishy…
It's just a statistic, and right now, it happens to be at 165. If you had opted for constructive criticism instead of your petty negativity, it would have been a much more sensible use of your time. Hope that helps ❤️

*Only read the fav quotes and Final Thoughts*interesting that you seem to like the lovey dovey ending (although…
I found WTPR enjoyable overall, but I must admit that after Hee Joo's second disappearance, the drama began to lose its momentum. The numerous imaginary scenes in episode 11 felt disjointed until the end of the episode when everything was revealed. Additionally, the finale was quite chaotic, it had me confused and I was led to believe the storyline had strayed off course. On the other hand their intimate scene and newlywed moments the end brought back some joy. I believe a sad ending would have been unwarranted, as the characters had already endured enough hardship. If they had experienced happiness throughout, then maybe I could accept it. I also wish the series had avoided controversial topics and had more than 12 episodes to better develop the storylines. For instance, a deeper exploration of Sa Eon's perspective and his background before becoming the government spokesperson, similar to the novel, would have been beneficial. 12 episodes simply felt too short considering the amount of story they had left to tell.

Yes I liked her in WYWS. I have yet to watch Vagabond but I’ve heard good things.

Review Doona! Spoiler
You’re entitled to your opinion. I however saw the ending as a break up. It’s a theory they are still together…
Exactly. I cannot stand Doona at all. Like damn I empathize with her struggles (depression) and everything but she needs to get some help. One of the worst female characters ever written. You can tell she was not well written and the direction was through a man’s pov.
