Hi there! Thanks a lot for your comment. I totally agree with you! I have to admit, I’m not a huge fan of Squid Game, but I enjoyed it in 2021. I think it brings back some nostalgia for ppl which is why it's so popular rn. I haven’t watched season 2 yet, so I can’t really say much about it, but I appreciate how Squid Game addresses significant issues. It really dives into societal inequality and capitalism, which reminds me a bit of The Hunger Games.
In contrast, LR doesn't offer much depth; it lacks a solid plot, meaningful character development, and true motivations. It really just feels like a run-of-the-mill cheesy high school romantic comedy tbh 😔
