I loved a lot of dramas but this was the first one I rewatched without skipping scenes.

I actually have no problem with that, but if you do that for too long the you're gonna lose the majority of your viewers, and it looks like that was exactly what happened. And if the writer isn't good enough to finish things nicely, a lot of questions might be unanswered, and people usually hate that. I'm gonna stick to the end tho.

I was skipping every scene with the main leads and then thought things were confusing, but it appears that even the people watching it the "right" way are confused.

I think she will reject both. None of them actually cared about how she felt. The intern didn't respect her space when she said "no" and the professor made her uncomfortable twice now. And mostly important, we need DRAMA for the second season.
