Very happy. . . . . . . . . . Everyone lives (Cui Lin had been thought dead at one point). Li Ni's father steps down resulting in Li Ni becoming the emperor and Cui Lin his empress. She learns she's pregnant. Has her baby; it's a boy. And then after a passage of time, Li Ni hands the throne back over to his cousin (the crown grandson) and when the drama ends, Li Ni and Cui Lin are living at Laolan Pass with their TWO children (boy and girl) along with Taozi/Peach and ChangEr/Ear. :)
Li Ni said to Pei Yuan that his older brother is not very capable but the second brother is very crafty, so the…
The former crown princess makes a similar observation later on about how the second brother has just enough smarts to cause trouble and be a thorn in the side. Fortunately, not so bright as the leads though so while he causes trouble, it's not anything they can't get out of!
I'm not sure if their surnames are the same character but sound the same but it's not that uncommon since there…
The lead characters share the same surname/character: 唐 (Tang).
According to Wikipedia:
Around 2,000 Han Chinese surnames are currently in use, but the great proportion of Han Chinese people use only a relatively small number of these surnames; 19 surnames are used by around half of the Han Chinese people, while 100 surnames are used by around 87% of the population. A report in 2019 gives the most common Chinese surnames as Wang and Li, each shared by over 100 million people in China. The remaining top ten most common Chinese surnames are Zhang, Liu, Chen, Yang, Huang, Zhao, Wu and Zhou.
The poison given to FL was by the big bad guy dude; even though it was fed to her by the crazy guy, so how did…
Did you see my answer in reply Topics section?
I’ve only watched 40 and skimmed 39 (and am otherwise watching on Viki with its delayed schedule 😭) but based on your question, and what I observed from 40, sounds like LCY swapped the pills and actually saved her life.
They like to earn as much money as they can, so that's why they sell the last episodes early. It might affect…
It’s also a fairly common practice, especially with the popular dramas. So it should not be considered a bad thing - on the contrary, it’s an indicator that the platform thought they could earn more money because the drama is one people are eager to watch.
He’s annoying and frequently causes trouble for our main leads, but never really a threat as our leads are smarter and more capable than him! So I would say he’s bearable in that regard. Just be prepared to hate him and mentally groan/eye roll every time he’s on screen. 😂
Is ther any breakup ? In which episode they started dating or confess 🤔
It’s one of those types of relationships where they were “dating” before they even knew it. So I would say hard to pinpoint exactly when they clarified they were in a relationship. But it’s pretty apparent from early on they’re both into each other.
Given that, they may have their arguments (different perspectives on matters) but they never really break-up.
LCF is dead. Li Ni’s father abdicates the throne for his son.
Li Ni becomes the emperor and A’Ying his empress,
Ms Gu is seen running around the marketplace all crazy trying to tell everyone she’s the empress.
Ear successfully proposes to Peach.
As in their older days, A’Ying makes a bet with Li Ni. She’s going to tell him something and if he opens his eyes, she wins and if he keeps them closed, he wins. He is familiar with her tricks and vows to keep his eyes closed… except she tells him she’s pregnant.
Also as in their olden days, A’Ying asks what they’re going to name their child and he answers A’Dao and A’Zhen. She asks if he’s really serious and then says if it’s a boy, they’ll go with the former and if a girl, the latter.
She gives birth to an A’Dao!
After a few years Li Ni makes good on his promise and abdicates his thrown. When the drama ends, he’s living in Laolan Pass with A’Ying and now they have an A’Zhen too. What a happy foursome, with Ear and Peach still by their sides.

This voice actor also dubbed XK in Snow Eagle Lord.
And looks like they've released the BGM too as the information is up on the drama's Baidu page (scroll down to the section, "音乐原声"): https://baike.baidu.com/item/%E4%B9%90%E6%B8%B8%E5%8E%9F/59821059

And no, no real break ups. They will fight over stuff (different visions/perspectives) but they always work through their issues.
