started strong but lost all its charm
I enjoyed the early episodes, but halfway through the comedy basically disappeared. I came for the humor too, so that was already disappointing. The plot turns cliche, predictable and drags a lot, to the point where it feels like you’re forcing yourself to finish it. Honestly, 10 episodes would’ve been enough to keep the pacing in check. The whiny ex also drove me up the wall. I get that they wanted to make him look pathetic, but his scenes were just exhausting all the way until the final episode. The leads are cute together, but I didn’t feel any real butterflies. Even the second lead had potential, but they didn’t develop them at all, probably because it might overshadow the main couple.
The writing is weak and the only thing that kept me going was the fake marriage trope. I really thought this would be the kdrama that proves romcom dramas can still be fun, but I guess not this time.

Came for Euijoo, Stayed for the Drama
Finished it in one sitting and honestly can’t believe how invested I got in the plot. At first it looked kinda boring, and I only started watching for Euijoo (luné here 🌙), but here I am yelling at the FL for not choosing Taijima, a total green flag btw, like girl what are you doing?! But okay, I get it, the store manager is also a straight-up hottie, so fair enough. LOVE her dynamic with Takumi though, such a shame he’s not the ML. And Euijoo’s acting debut? Way better than I expected. Not cringe at all! His character is supposed to be that way and he nailed it, even with just two episodes of screen time. Was this review helpful to you?

Could Have Been Epic, But It Wasn’t
Okay, this might sound harsh but I’m a big fan of survival game series, so my expectations were high and this just didn’t deliver. The concept had so much potential, but the low budget execution really dragged it down. The plot felt rushed but also dragged at times. They did give some backstory to the characters but it was so minimal that everything still felt flat and surface level. There was no real depth or layers to anyone, so it was hard to connect or feel invested. Giving side characters more story and proper build-up would have made a big difference.
ML’s acting also bothered me a bit. Being a “smart and cool student” doesn’t mean you have to be expressionless and stiff the whole time. And the script... yeah, the writing wasn’t great. I actually laughed during the final episode because what was that “capturing their soul” about? Like, pick a lane. Are you doing survival or supernatural? Don’t mix genres when you can’t even nail one properly.
The ending was disappointing too. I don’t get why they hinted at a season 2 when the first one already feels half-baked. If they really wanted to continue, they should’ve at least made season 1 high quality so people would look forward to the next. GMMTV could’ve made this big if they invested more, but they didn’t.
For me, it’s a 6/10 at best. Anything higher and I’ll just assume you’re rating it because you love the cast, not the story.

Love Beyond Complexes
This drama is such a cozy and feel-good watch with a nice sprinkle of comedy. It follows the friends to lovers trope, and the female lead honestly feels like she came straight out of a manga. The male lead in the beginning is super cute, sassy, and at the same time surprisingly manly, which gives his character a special charm. The first half was so good, but in the second half I felt like the male lead became colder and more nonchalant toward the female lead. I couldn’t tell if that was how his character was written or if it was just the acting, but it did confuse me a little.
What I love most is the message. For people who share the same kind of complex as the characters, it shows that in the end you should only care about those who truly love you as you are, and worry less about everyone else. The ending was really sweet too and left me smiling 🥺

A Thrilling Ride That Deserves More Time
I really love the storyline — it’s fast-paced and keeps you hooked from the very first episode to the end. The acting from the entire cast is spectacular, but DEX impressed me the most. He truly nailed his role as a smart, strong villain, and every time he managed to catch the kids, I couldn’t help but feel nervous for them. That said, eight episodes felt too short to fully unpack the backstory. Some scenes were cut so abruptly that it left me confused, wondering when and how certain events happened, as they weren’t clearly explained to the viewers.
Overall, I appreciate how the plot avoids the typical action-thriller clichés. With a higher budget, I believe they could have taken this drama to an even greater level.

Sweet Gifts for Fans, Weak as a Comeback
Krist and Singto have undeniably insane chemistry, and it’s clear why Peraya fans are still waiting for them to reunite on screen. If you want solid acting, especially in emotional scenes, you can trust them to deliver. The series starts strong — the first half hooks you with anticipation about Tam’s reason for leaving. Unfortunately, once the reason is revealed, it feels weak and the story starts to fall apart. I know they were trying to tie it to real-life events from Krist and Singto, but from a romance perspective, it’s baffling. Tam’s character is written inconsistently, likely because the Thai title translates to Because My Ex Changes Often, but the concept doesn’t land well for me.
Thankfully, the series redeems itself with a stunning finale. It’s emotional, beautiful, and deserves high praise. There are also plenty of SOTUS references sprinkled throughout, which only fans of SOTUS will fully appreciate (though it’s not required viewing, you’d miss the joy of spotting those easter eggs).
The side characters, however, are confusing. The dynamic between P’Yong, Gaogie, and Nudhee shifts back and forth — at times hinting that Gaogie and Nudhee are a pair, and at others suggesting P’Yong and Gaogie are together. Fortunately, the finale gives a reasonable resolution for these three.
There are also noticeable plot holes, perhaps due to this being GMMTV’s first original script. The character writing could have been stronger, and the story would have benefited from focusing more on their work as journalists — a subplot that had the potential to be really engaging. Instead, GMMTV condensed the series into just 10 episodes, which left certain elements feeling rushed or incomplete.
Overall, this series turned out better than I expected based on the pilot. Still, it feels less like a grand comeback and more like a special project made to entertain Peraya/KristSingto fans rather than appeal to casual viewers. It’s not a great comeback series, but it does serve as a heartfelt journey for their fans.

Weak Execution
while kang haneul is always great in comedy, the rest of the cast feels a bit forced at times. overall the movie is just okay and lacks a clear direction on which theme it wants to focus on more, whether it’s comedy or the heavier topic of friendship. both themes could have worked well together if handled better, but that’s not really the case here. though cha eunwoo doesn’t have much screen time, but his acting feels very natural and he manages to draw me into his role within the friendship. i honestly wish i could rate it higher because i really love kang haneul’s works, but this time a 7 is the max for me.Was this review helpful to you?

A Film That Made Me See Love Differently
I went into this film intrigued by the trailer because I genuinely didn’t know what to expect, but what I got was such a beautiful and heartfelt romantic story. All of the main characters are kind of broken in their own ways, yet they slowly heal when they meet each other. It’s not just romance, the friendship aspect is really strong too. If you’re expecting the typical plot where the “ugly” female lead falls for a handsome male lead and later transforms into a conventionally pretty woman, this film is not that at all.
Gyeong Ruk feels like a one in a million kind of man, but at the same time I understand where his preferences come from. He values sincerity and purity over anything fake, and Mi Jeong embodies that. They literally become light in each other’s lives, and it’s so warm watching how deeply he loves her. Sangmin’s acting here is honestly amazing. You can really feel his “I can’t live without her” emotions and it hurts in the best way.
They clearly love each other so much, which makes everything even more painful. While Gyeong Ruk starts chasing his dream again because of her, Mi Jeong ends up leaving him because of her inferiority complex. I can see why that decision might confuse some people, but the idea that she leaves because she loves him too much is such a complex feeling, and the film explains it really well.
Yo Han’s character is also really important as the witness and narrator of their love story. Even though he’s quietly struggling with his own depression, he keeps putting on a strong front for his friends until he eventually can’t hold it in anymore. That’s when his friends finally step in, support him, just like how he always did for them.
Overall, this is a bittersweet film that is easy to watch on the surface but actually very deep. It leaves a lingering feeling in your heart after it ends. I honestly think this is one of those films I will never forget for the rest of my life.

yada carried the whole movie....
low budget movie, messy post production, old style humour, weak script… and it honestly feels like everyone is just being themselves with no script, except for yada (and krist later on). i genuinely don’t know how this made it to cinema screening.the worst part is they didn’t even focus fully on mak and nak’s story. instead, we get too much random, kinda pointless comedic stunts from the crew gang?? like I get it, the gang (especially petchtai) is big in thailand, but still… it just way too much.
i actually feel bad for yada because her acting is way too good for this kind of script. she literally carried the whole movie from start to end. the chemistry between her and krist is more cute than heart-fluttering, but somehow they still made me cry in their scenes, so i’ll give them that.
overall, this movie had so much potential. it would’ve been way better if they just focused on mak and nak’s story, with only a bit of the trio instead of overdoing it. i know they directed and produced it themselves, but honestly… they should’ve chosen a different story to make their gang shine, and not this legendary tale.

Not Special, But Somehow Stole My Heart
I started this series after Me and Thee purely because I wanted to see PondPhuwin’s chemistry here. Funny enough, this is actually the only PondPhuwin series I skipped before lol. I randomly clicked it on some random Saturday and honestly, it’s not some mind-blowing, life-changing show, but it’s the perfect mealtime watch. Comfort, easy, never boring. This series is very much about love and friendship. Romance is there, yes, but the friendships are just as important, and that’s what makes it charming. I think this might be GMMTV’s first BL with four pairs, which felt pretty fresh. That said, I do think the pacing could’ve been better. If they trimmed it down to around 12 or 13 episodes, the story would feel tighter. Because there are so many episodes, we get a lot of kissing and love scenes… like, I’m not complaining but some of them could’ve been cut down a bit lol 😂
Things I realized while watching:
1) I could NEVER survive a situationship like PhumPeem. Nope. After the first kiss, I’d be like “okay so what are we” immediately. I don’t have the patience for that emotional limbo.
2) At first, I kinda cringed at Toey (Satang) because the last series I watched him in was My School President, where he was all cool and nonchalant. Toey here is the total opposite, super childish. But after a while, I got used to it, and honestly, this just proves how good Satang is. He made me completely forget his previous role. As for Winny, his character feels pretty similar to what he’s done before. I’m not super into QToey as a pair, but THEIR OST??? Insane. Every time the bgm comes on, I’m instantly smiling and blushing. It’s way too sweet.
3) MY PRECIOUS TANFANG 🩷 I came for PondPhuwin but stayed for AouBoom. I genuinely didn’t expect their chemistry to hit this hard. Their characters are adorable, their scenes feel so natural, and I always find myself waiting for them. They make me smile like an idiot. I couldn’t move on from them, so of course I went and searched for their parts in the novel (yes, I’m obsessed). TanFang feels very close to AouBoom’s real-life dynamic. If you’ve read the novel, you know how big and romantic Tan’s love for Fang is, and Aou portrayed that perfectly on screen.
4) ChainPun is peak slow-burn, friends-to-lovers. No big drama, just quiet feelings growing between people who already care about each other. Simple, soft, and honestly my kind of trope. I pray for this kind of love someday, right after TanFang lol.
Overall, the series is really nothing special, but somehow it still charms my heart and makes me soft for their story and friendship.

They tried to blend all genres into one series and it's not working...
Tbh, I really had to think twice about rating this series. The idea and concept are actually good, but the execution left me confused. I honestly don’t know who to blame, the director or the screenwriter, because this pair is genuinely beautiful, yet the show couldn’t maintain a consistent tone throughout all 8 episodes. At first, it felt like a criminal psychological thriller. Then out of nowhere, it shifted into mellow melodrama. Not long after that, they started pushing comedy, especially through sponsor scenes. Like, what was that yogurt scene? I really couldn’t take it seriously.
The tone kept switching back and forth and it felt very random and out of place, especially for this kind of story.
The sponsor scenes honestly ruined it for me. The final part where they tried to make the noodle cup scene iconic too also felt forced, like they were doing it purely for the aesthetic rather than serving the story.
That said, the cinematography was perfect. No complaints there at all. I just wish they had developed the side characters more, because some plot points felt illogical, especially considering the prison setting.
Acting wise, all the actresses nailed their roles. However, I really got the ick from some of the male actors, especially Pond. His acting felt way too exaggerated for me. Ter is the only exception.
Belle, on the other hand, was amazing. Her performance stood out, and there’s no doubt why she’s been trusted with main roles before. She as Kae is perfect.
If only the mood of the series had been consistent from start to finish, I would’ve easily rated ClaireBell a solid 9.0 but the constant tone shifts kept it from reaching its full potential.

The story remind you of the past BL Manga you've read!!
easily one of the fluffiest, sweetest doki doki bl dramas of the year!! if you’re familiar with bl manga, trust me, you’ll catch all the little details here and the acting is so manga-like too. i’ve seen kodai in SLGS before, and he’s such a natural actor and i love him so much, so i’m really happy to see him again here. also… kodai reminds me a lot of firstone (thai bl actor) especially in the earlier episodes, they look really similar. as for hideyoshi, this is my first time watching him, but i think he really nails the obsessive/stalker/psychopath vibe with those sharp eyes. anyway, their chemistry is amazing and your heart goes doki doki every time lol. high school romance really is the best ❤️Was this review helpful to you?
IT'S HILARIOUS AF ?
This mini series is literally the only part of Muteluv I cared about, and THANK GOD it delivered. It’s chaotic, sassy, queer and downright stupid funny in the best way. I went in kinda scared because comedy with queer characters can get messy if done wrong, but nope they handled it so well. Zero mockery, all respect, all camp, all vibes.I swear these four episodes had me laughing like CRAZY. Ingky’s punchlines? Criminal. Someone arrest that girl because she did not have to be that funny 😭
I love the whole cast, especially Fluke as Nevia. I didn’t really know him off screen, but he plays this role so naturally it’s wild. His acting, his gestures, everything just fits. And now I get why he’s the leader of AirDoll. Also, every episode I’m just sitting here jealous of his makeup. Like queen WHY are you so pretty??
Mick as Pat is such a perfect casting choice too. He nails the younger cute innocent boyfriend vibe so well. Lego as Ingky looks gorgeous, and Neo is just Neo in the most chaotic way. Big props to Yatch for taking on this queer role too!
What I love the most is how the story focuses on friendship instead of forcing romance, though I’m lowkey shipping BankNevia and PatIngky too. (they're dating in my head).
It’s a genuinely well made comedy and I highly recommend it if you need something light and funny to relieve stress 👍🏻

Spectacular Performances That Hit You Straight in the Heart
I truly need to thank the casting director and GDH for trusting these rookie actors — Engfa, Jeff, and Keng — with such heavy roles. Their acting is spectacular, and I was genuinely impressed by how fully they embodied their characters. The movie hits hard with its portrayal of how greed can destroy people, regardless of age. It’s heartbreaking to watch a family fall apart over inheritance and wills, but it’s also painfully real. The film captures this reality and its consequences so well, and I honestly think it’s a fantastic representation of what happens in so many families.

When you fight for love...
A beautiful romance that honestly portrays the challenges couples face, even when love is strong. I had no idea the leads were a real-life couple before watching, which makes their chemistry even more captivating (though they’ve since broken up). Their performances are phenomenal and hit me right in the feels, especially in the most emotional moments. Highly recommend for anyone who loves a heartfelt, realistic love story. Was this review helpful to you?
