The thing is, a lot of people do no understand the production values of a drama or movie. Most of us clearly just see how they felt about the drama and accordingly rate or review it. Yes yes, I know anyone can freely express themselves however they want but it's also my sad expression that people don't judge and analyze dramas taking into consideration the technical aspects, rather calculating how entertaining something was.

I guess you're right. Just finished watching 12th episode and I'm sure this is something that it should be binged. I am totally into the drama right now. Can't say it's amazing but I like it. And yes, judging the entite thing solely because of the CGI is so very wrong.
Done with 5 episodes now and I think I love it. I didn't want to rely on my presumption that this had to be good bcs the writer is actually one of the best but O somehow find myself anticipating more. I am very judgemental about direction, progression and all otye4 technical aspects of a drama and I am honestly pleased to a extent. I will see to the end and judge the story after finishing only but so far it's good. Also, I don't get why people bashed the drama citing poor CGI in its first week. Well, I am thankful you have used the word "personally" multiple times, indicating that is how you feel.
At the same time, I can not agree with anything at all except for the 3rd point here.
1. Krystal's character strated off very good, I admit, but soon after joining the university, it turned into nothing. She was only there to serve the ML's love interests and the side storyline set for her involving her mother, completely felt like a non-complimentary side dish which the writer had put after realizing that the FL is doing almost nothing in the drama.
2. My whole point about Jinyoung is he needs improvement in his acting skills. Not only he was unfit for such a character, the character itself is flawed to a great extent. I mean who is entirely flawless, but his is not at all likable.
3. Yes, the basic concept of that online gambling thing was decent and the way to interprete justice used in the drama is quite cool, but sorry to say the execution got me feel like a clown. It is not something people would look forward with even 1% interest. The writer itself needs some serious training.
So, judging from all possible angels, I can not care less about this drama.
I watched it in 2016 and hated it so much. It wasn't to the quality of a 2016 year Kdrama even.

What even! What kinda stupid logic you got! People watched and told about how they felt about this show. So what's wrong with giving negative reviews when they didn't like anything about a drama or movie? It's that simple. If you liked or loved it then you might state that you don't agree with the reviews and you think it's great. But using words like "toxicity" "negativity" "hate" etc signifies your toxicity itself bcs you want to resonate this way. Nobody is spewing hate by their nonsense here, they are simply saying they didn't like it. If you do not know how to use vocabularies properly, going back to elementary school might help, seriously! Even my English is not good but I take care of what I say. Also, if you think the platform is getting cheap, feel free to leave rather than uttering hate against it. Okay so I continued to watch without fast forwarding yesterday, since no one replied and watched 7 more eps (7-13). So so so happy I didn't do it. This drama is actually very good. Mystery thriller with 50% makjang elements (sorry I Sony think it's completely makjang). I love the pacing here; the seemingly slow screenplay is actually apt for the mood and vibes. We already know how phenomenal all the major casts of this drama are but they've become even better and I love Go Hyun Joo and Shin Hyun Been a lot, the way they're presenting their respective characters to the audience is really commendable.

Now that I have finished 7th ep, I somehow see my worries coming true. I am in dilemma whether to start fast forwarding or not bcs I think they will now go through the process of discovering the truth themselves but on the other hand I guess the process might not be worth the time. I really have no problem with slow-paced thrillers with heavy plots, I have seen slower and such series are actually addictive but if they just end up messing everything and dragging and repetitive stuffs by the end, I will just regret wasting my time. So please tell me. I admit 1-6 were very nice though, just doubtful about the further consequences.
So should I fast forward at 2x or wait for some time?
The creator/director is the same man behind Train to Busan, so safe to say he knows what he's doing.
Exactly....lmao the comparison got me laughing 😂😂😂. That's the point in my review above too. It's just we have seen this more than 20 times in Kdramas and it's nothing new. The only thing they've Incorporated is the concept of those monsters.
