Adorable. Didn’t expect the aunt to have such a presence so that really made this second half more interesting! Satisfying ending that didn’t seem open to me
Very fun movie! Shades of Terminator 2 and Avengers with delightful historical fantasy and magical moments. Amazing cast though felt So Ji Sub was underused (role wasn’t interesting or big enough for him IMO). And the cats! 🐱 ❤️
The ML was really stupid. It made me think about how often Cha Seung Won’s roles feature him being handsome but pretty stupid! It really didn’t work here but worth watching for Oh Jung Se
Did not love this movie but definitely loved the dog! Felt like the movie kept shoving examples of how sexist and unfair life is (especially in the first 30 minutes) just to make us root for FL and the dog. Which seemed entirely unnecessary as both were good characters
So heartbreaking…The ending really drove home that they both went into the relationship knowing how it would end. But their hearts couldn’t accept that so they both had such a struggle with letting go.
I think the flashback at the end also shows even more why Jong Woo was so angry…She wasn’t letting him go but or seeing him off as they agreed, just fighting his death every step of the way. But that final scene showed her setting things right and leaving him in peace.
I did wonder about the story behind the old man with the beautiful comatose wife. Maybe just another illustration of caretaking as a form of selfishness (because I found it creepy to begin with and the scene where she woke up made it even creepier)
So sad! FL is just tending to her dying dad and the return of the CD and CD player was devastating to me. I didn’t realize till then that it was her personal CD player 😭. That and hearing the song at the end really drove home that she obviously liked him and he was too dumb and insecure to see it (or wrongly feeling too betrayed to care)
Think it was lesson to not be like them and take the risk of being open with your feelings, whether they’re about love, insecurities or doubt. Worth watching!
I liked this! It was a bit slow and maybe there were a few too many creepy moments before focusing on why they were happening.
I think the end suggested closure (the person at the end has motivation to reveal everything and pass the grudge to the people who ultimately deserve it)
Wow, depressing commentary on how the poor do not have the leisure to dwell on morality and have such a miserable life any form of escape is acceptable (such as drinking, domestic violence and affairs)
Wow, another surprise! This features a very sweet romance that turns sad due to financial desperation and an equally desperate loan shark lackey. There are some sex scenes that mainly illustrate the FL’s situation (though the first scene was much longer than necessary, seemed purely salacious); and there are some humorous moments related to the (mostly off-camera) sex, but the focus is the romance. It’s very sweet and I found the actress in the lead role very charming.
Generally found this to be a quirky pleasant surprise with lots of funny observational scenes. The sex seemed to illustrate FL’s fluctuating sense of agency and wasn’t the focus of the movie
Much better than I expected. The sex didn’t have to be there (FL could have been in a completely different profession to have the same issues that led to her taking care of the cranky old rich man).
There were very touching scenes related to old man dying, regretting life and the choices he made. The end was very touching except for remembering the stuff leading up to it! Why was it so extreme?
I don’t regret watching it, the leads gave good performances and the mystery of why she was there unfolded well (except for the one scene justifying it all that again could have been something totally different for the same point as I didn’t feel sex was really central to the story)
Really beautiful movie, made me cry! Expresses the pain and happiness found in following your dreams or finding one.
No summary would do this movie justice. I really love movies like this that explore real, everyday struggles such as being young, trying to succeed your way but reality keeps getting in the way.
Opening scene is noisy oral sex in a car and most of the movie is long sex scenes stacked onto one another. Being soft porn this is virtually all from the men’s perspective (contrary to what the movie description suggests)
I find this a really charming and interesting mix of schoolgirl fantasy and just thriller. Kind of a meditation on how fantasy can be fun or dangerous/scary?
Of course the serial killer is amazingly handsome and artistic. So many adorable scenes with the two girls despite the horrible circumstances. Tae Soo’s family and colleagues also seem very childish and playing at their roles (especially that guy with the mustache!).
I actually saw many people saying this was a waste of time lol but I personally liked this especially how the…
I think the one who fell was just the girl in the photo and not related to other characters. At first I thought the woman from chapter 1 might be responsible but the phone call made me think otherwise because she sounded so normal (not like a serial killer was forcing her to have a phone conversation)?
I really like the lead actors, they gave good performances but the story strained belief. How did they not think through the possible downsides of their plan? They are cops and familiar with how ruthless and shady the criminals are.
Once things started going bad it felt like there was a long plod through seeing the ugly consequences of their plan (which felt unnecessary to me given the situation; seeing people get tortured, beaten and slaughtered didn’t really add much to the story that we didn’t already know).
The Major Crimes lead and his backstory was the most interesting. The end seemed very contrived but I still enjoyed this mainly due to the strength of the cast
Life is too short to waste time on movies like this. Dropped halfway through. It’s clearly soft porn (over half the content is sex scenes) but the dialogue and music seem as if the creators are trying to convince you otherwise which is insulting

It’s now playing on Tubi
