I wasn’t expecting that purehearted sad ending! The whole movie pressed on how manipulative and possessive ML was just to turn it all around. So strangely touching even though both ML and FL have to suffer their common past forever
So beautiful, the way it ends so honors the friendship between ML and Tae Ho! I thought the time travel followed a logic; just seemed like ML could have helped FL avoid death without totally rejecting her (though I can wave that off by ML overreacting to future ML’s advice and as a commentary on how we can never really predict future events)
Really charming movie with a great cast; if you love theater or have ever been onstage you are likely to root for these characters despite the many contrived (or theatrical?) mishaps. Loved the way the movie ended!
Interesting…it starts out showing how “sensitive” the main character is but as it wears on we’re slowly exposed to her insecurity, selfishness, lack of sensitivity leading to what seems to be total appreciation of hypocrisy (which she details in a writing contest entry that wins her a grand prize but doesn’t indicate she has any understanding of how shallow she is until she thinks about her family reading it).
It’s hard to tell if she’s aware of how her viewpoint is wrong (she knows her honesty would hurt her family but stands by her words)…The relief she shows in the last scene about not having to share any information about herself (which to her means lying) is so pure! Good watch
Wow, the second half was so intense— Each team giving their all to support their star pitcher and seeing the physical agony of the pitchers while they are so determined to win…I have never felt so captivated by a sports movie before.
The ending seemed really abrupt and anticlimactic (maybe because of the high intensity and ferocity that led up to it, and finally coming to terms with what was clear from the beginning: they’re both great players and we shouldn’t have to choose one over the other)
I’m really curious about this series. Was it popular enough to warrant a series? Most of the leads look much older than high school students, fight scenes are still bad, but this one was a cut above The Dominators because it centers around Korean history and Japan as a bully (instead of sex jokes/talk and centering activities around horniness or unexplained bullying)
I think it suggested that Hyun Jin was Joo Hee and most of what Hyun Jin saw was madness, fantasies or reflecting on her past; but I’m still not sure how the beginning fits in (at that weird workplace)
This is really simple and silly. I watched it as a 2.5 hour movie on Tubi. It definitely felt like a really long sitcom. Bad acting, sweet story but they seldom played music…Why leopards?
This is The Brawl Busters on Tubi. Just a lot of fight scenes with a plot that is simply “get revenge on bad guy” but liked how much of the action was led by the FL
This seemed a little pointless because obviously what the leads were doing was as unethical as what others in the village were doing and would result in a bad outcome. It also defied belief that no one would figure out what they were doing…So the revelation at the end made sense. But the very last scene was confusing. Was that a death wish? Why not just leave town?
There must have been lots of hype around this movie when it came out for it to cause such disappointment and negative reviews? It was about young people struggling with finding their identity and direction so it had to convey some pointlessness…That’s what they were struggling against. I thought it was good!

I really loved this movie! It’s on Tubi. The lead’s buried passion for music coming alive while playing with this adorable jangly indie rock band with crappy yet heartfelt lyrics was so endearing. The performance that the movie built up to was so hilarious! I felt like it ended with “At least I have the music in me!” which was nice but I wanted more for him and the band. I would definitely watch this again 💕
