Zhuang Xu has a special type of audacity l only dream to have. If l had that audacity l would rule the universe.…
I'm so happy to see comments like this. I've been seeing some ZX apologist comments and I'm like??? How can you feel sorry for him lmaoo. He doesn't deserve it
So im rewatching, and manman completely fell for WS when he defended her during the wheat seeds fiasco. So when…
I don't think there was an exact moment. I think for him it was more of a combination of everything so far that made him come to the realisation. And as we saw, that realisation took a while cuz he kept trying to deny the fact he was falling for her and whenever he was finally going to try to accept it, he would remember his dad and brother and the grudge against the Qiao's and feel like he was betraying them. So i think its more of when he was willing to fall for her regardless of the grudge he had. Which i think was in the ep where he asked Wei Yan if he could fall for her.
While I absolutely loved this drama along with many others, there were some people who disagreed with some decisions made by some characters. The thing though, is that their decisions were understandable based on their personalities and past experiences (in my opinion). So my advice would be not to view their actions from what you think you'd do in a specific situation but instead from the characters pov.
Why are all the dead people alive and dancing at the end?
They're not actually alive. Well, except Fu Yun Xi. I think it's just to show that they're still with them even though it's not physically. For Fu Yun Xi, we know while his poison was cured, he'd already been poisoned for too long, so no one knew how long he'd live. Which is why he's also standing on the side of the dead at the end. Probably to show he's living on 'borrowed time'.
Kinda wish they had stuck to the novel. Though ik they had to cut out some scenes, they've still changed so much and it just doesn't seem as good as the novel. It feels like so many things are missing. I was really excited that this was being made into a drama but now I'm not really enjoying it as much anymore.
Is the story the same in the novel and the series? Does anyone know how the story is in the novel? Wei Zhi's parents…
They changed a lot from the novel. In the novel, Wei Zhi didn't have an AI scandal. She just happened to watch one of Shan Cong's competition videos and decided to make a comic on snowboarding. Jiang Yiming is also very different. Unlike the series where he always liked her, he was more nonchalant and cold to her in the novel. I think her parents are also a bit different. While they still tried to plan out her life and wanted her to marry Jiang Yiming, in the novel when the mum finds out about Wei Zhi having a boyfriend she initially doesn't believe it so she didn't take it seriously. Until she ran into Wei Zhi and Shan Cong outside Wei Zhi's apartment in Nancheng when he was dropping her off. From the ep 17 preview, her reaction in the show seems different from the novels. While she still had her concerns, Wei Zhi was able to talk to her civilly. Also, when Wei Zhi's parents finally formally met Shan Cong the atmosphere was way better. It was more like them asking him about his family and what he planned to do in the future. So I can't predict what'll happen in the series anymore.
Honestly idk how to feel about the changes. I think one of the changes i don't really like is how Shan Cong chose to return to snowboarding. In the novel it was way more emotional and fit the situation more. I feel like they didn't really show that turmoil or process in the drama. But I like the change in Jiang Yiming
This is really random. But during the wedding scene, I kept thinking of the song Daylight by Taylor Swift and coincidentally, it fits them so well. Now I'm going to think of Shen Xifan and He Suye anytime I listen to that song from now on.
