It’s great that they aren’t overstretching the conflict.
It’s the same for me. I don’t mind a bit of angst, but the problem arises when they take it too far and drag it out unnecessarily—it starts to feel more exhausting than emotional. Thank God this drama didn’t take that lane, as I’m loving it and don’t want it to become distasteful because of this.
Don’t be scared. The drama is angsty right now, and yes they are still “fighting,” but it’s not irreparable.…
I was worried the writers might overdo the drama by making the leads go through an actual divorce, only to reunite them in the later episodes. I really can’t stand that trope.
I could be mistaken, but I have a lingering sense that Liu Mo may harbour sinful feelings for Ming Tan. Perhaps it’s just a passing notion, but I can’t help wondering—has it become a trend lately to introduce characters who secretly covet those already married, haha?
This meagre one-episode schedule is truly dampening the enjoyment of the drama. I sincerely hope they return to airing two episodes a day next week. A single episode feels far too little—merely a drop in the ocean. And when will they finally introduce Ke Ying’s Yun Yi? I’m genuinely surprised by the delay, and it leaves me wondering what role she’ll ultimately play in the larger narrative.

Thanks in advance!
