Sorry, but I can’t really buy the idea that it’s about the other person being “more serious”, because apart from the Grand Prince, he doesn’t actually know how serious anyone else is. And in jealousy, people usually jump to worst-case scenarios, not the most generous ones.

If anything, he should’ve realised his feelings the moment he saw her with another man and felt that fear of losing her. But it feels like he was quite comfortable staying her childhood “oppa” until the ML showed up. Unlike the ML, the SML has had years as her acquaintance to actually confess.

And here you can’t even say it’s because he’s seeing her with another man, since earlier episodes already showed that she dated an idol before as well. He didn’t have the courage to be possessive then either. But now that it’s the male lead, he’s suddenly acting like this.

I will, haha. I was just thinking whether I should watch it tonight or just wait till tomorrow and watch both episodes together, in case things don’t get resolved tonight.

That’s how things are for the “friend” SML generally. They sit on their feelings all of their life, and suddenly get the courage when the ML enters into the picture. In here, you can’t even say it’s because he fears losing her, because as it was told earlier, she has had boyfriends before, but he didn’t get the courage then, but only now.

I think she’s just there as a jealousy device for the whole push-and-pull dynamic. She’s probably not going to have any real impact on the story, in my opinion.

I thought it’d be a quick marriage, with the drama focusing on how they deal with the consequences. But looks like most of it is just going to be them jumping through endless hoops to get married.

And of course, the usual “friend” SML, sitting on his feelings forever, then suddenly finding the courage the moment the leads start getting close.

And seriously, all this angst and jealousy when their bond has just started forming?

Tell me how L&P is. I’ve read many comments saying it has toxic relationship between leads and the ML is super red flag?

I honestly didn’t expect it. I thought they’d stay true to the novel like they had been and give me a happy ending, but damn!

For me, open endings are worse than sad ones. Like, don’t leave me hanging in that kind of ambiguity.

So, as usual, they’ve ditched the novel’s ending and turned it into a C-Trauma. Why in tarnation do they love ruining happy endings like this?
