i like him, he is kinda cute and dont forget he is just a child 😭
I know he’s young, but other characters his age feel pretty different from him. Even the FL is young, but she comes across quite differently. He’s actually quite clever in other situations, like how he keeps the FL’s father in check, or takes the crown prince to Chen’s place so he can’t really say anything. Still, he just feels a bit too “arrogant” and “entitled” to me, I guess.
Or it could just be my personal dislike for this kind of character.
He is one of those who cares about money and his precious son and company that’s all . Nothing new there
But this man hasn’t been the stereotypical Asian parent interfering in his child’s life. Instead, he has been cold and indifferent towards his daughter, making her feel at every point that she is illegitimate.

I feel like they’re trying to give him a redemption arc by calling everything he did just an “awkward” way of showing love. I don’t get why dramas keep doing this. He made her feel like shit her whole life, and now she’s supposed to feel guilty for “misunderstanding” him? That’s on him. If that’s his way of loving, of course anyone would hate him, no one can read his mind and magically see some hidden love.
...He slaps I-an at the hospital because his daughter was in danger under I-an's watch, but when Hui Ju got into…
He didn’t even go see Hui Ju after she woke up. Just kept sending other people, like her sister-in-law, to show his “care,” while he stayed busy with meetings and making money.
To be fair, the father should be blaming himself. If he hadn’t mistreated Hui Ju her whole life, she wouldn’t have felt so desperate to elevate her status by marrying the Grand Prince, and none of this would’ve happened. After all, isn’t he using the same logic when he blames I-An?
Ugh the PM needs to get a life. Is he going to go after a married woman now ? He had all the time to confess but…
I think he’ll stop chasing her after the next episode, once she says how much she loves I-An. That’ll probably snap him out of his delusion that the marriage is just a sham, they’ll divorce in three years, and he still has a shot.
That is one psychopathic claim right!!! He's like, nobody except me can mentally torture her like wth dude!?
Oh, he’s definitely getting a redemption arc, where all his treatment of SHJ magically turns into “tough love” that was somehow for her own good. And of course, SHJ will end up feeling guilty, like she was rude and ungrateful… despite him never showing her a single bit of actual affection.
I've always wondered in all the series what the need is if it's a marriage contract; why do they have to write…
At this point, I’ve just accepted that contract marriages are put down on paper purely so the truth can blow up later. It’s never enough for them to quietly turn into something real in private, with no one ever finding out. Nope, somehow, it always has to be exposed for the drama.
Oh my God, the bedroom scene was way too sweet. Them falling asleep in each other’s arms? Definitely the most sugary moment in the drama so far.
But seriously, the Grand Prince getting slapped twice and not a single reaction? I get that the father is NOW emotional and worried about his daughter, but that still doesn’t justify slapping him, especially when he’s the Grand Prince and is equally in pain, if not more. And as usual, he just takes it quietly, just like when QM slapped him earlier. It really ruffles my feathers!
The truth coming out after they DRAFTED that contract was pretty obvious, so no surprises there. I just really hope they don’t go down the whole “I’ll leave you for your own good” route. Like please, just let them stay together and handle everything as a power couple.
I’d paused it at episode 8 to let a few more episodes build up. Since everyone’s saying he’ll lose his powers as he becomes human, how much of his power has he actually lost so far in exchange for gaining those senses? I, kind of, don’t like power losing tropes, especially when villains are lurking around. Thank you.
But I’m more interested in who told her to do it. She’s too shy to do something like that on her own. Was…
I thought the poison was meant for I-An, and she ended up consuming it accidentally when she was walking toward the wine glass. Isn’t that why she says in the preview that the Grand Prince is in danger?
Huiju is a capable adult who knows what she wants, why is he even interfering??
I did start watching Our Universe, but dropped it because the FL–SML pairing had far too much screen time. Honestly, the second male lead there was even worse than this one.
