As they say, “All roads of a K-Drama lead to a childhood connection.”
Of course, the ex would be a jerk because they weren’t destined to be with the lead, lacking any childhood connection. This jerkiness is used to show they weren’t fated for each other.

Dang, I forgot the important K-Drama fact that MCs are supposed to be destined for each other, haha. The writers have to strategically spread hints throughout the drama to prove this point.

I don’t understand why K-drama screenwriters don’t believe that two strangers, without any childhood connection or prior incident, can fall in love, pfft.
So all of a sudden SML love for the princess faded and now he is madly in love with FL whom he have trashed from…
In my opinion, he simply wants to ‘own’ her. When he realised that she would no longer be his, he became hell-bent on making her his, without giving—or even attempting to give—any regard to her feelings. Similarly, since he already has the princess with him, he no longer feels anything for her. What he calls love is nothing more than a possessive obsession.
Wait a minute the one who saved eun ho from the fire is actually ji yun' s dad?
Yes, that’s right! It was heartwarming conversing with you! I hope to see you again on an another page, maybe on this very drama’s page. Until then, take care! :)

Ah, the hackneyed ‘I love you, so I’ll leave you’ trope. I hope they don’t make a big deal out of this revelation and proceed to fluff and swoon worthy moments quickly. :)

The only scenario where I can see a breakup is if Eun Ho finds out the truth and hides it from Ji Yun. This could lead to feelings of betrayal or distrust, which might ultimately be a reason to sever ties. Albeit I hope such scenario doesn’t actually materialise.
perhaps they don't have to break up, it might just be an argument in one of the episodes right??
I also believe that, but they could go for the breakup if ML finds about the truth before the FML and decides not to tell her or hides it. Then, when she eventually finds out, she feels betrayed and bam! We’ve got the perfect recipe of a breakup, haha.
Probably to get back together in the last 20 minutes of the final episode
The last minute patch up of the relationship, especially one followed by an unnecessary and absurd time-skip, seriously ruffles my feathers. I hope this drama doesn’t go down that lane and instead provides us with the preponderance of fluff.
