I don’t know, man, I’m feeling bad for both of the second leads—more so for the SFL, since it appears from the preview that she’s gotten the wrong idea that the ML likes her.

I was hoping they could play Träumerei. It would’ve been perfect as the incidental music for the scene where they steal glances at each other, their eyes filled with yearning.

But it definitely serves as a catalyst. Even in this drama, their romance story really launched after that drunk scene, haha.

This alcohol drinking is also a major plot device that drives the romance forward, haha. I’ve watched just too many drunk kisses and confessions.

If they want to air it before Harbin 2025, they’ll need to start on the 28th, as it will take around 10 days to finish.

Do you have the official source pertaining to this rule? I scoured the Internet and just couldn’t find any such official rule, law, or guideline.

Damn, is there really such a rule? I don’t even know if they have any justifiable rationale behind all these diktats. By the way, is there a formal code of media rules, or are these just unspoken ones?

Even if there is another couple, they are not the main one according to MDL’s cast list, so I doubt they have much screen time.

I hope they give this drama a cop-out by increasing each episode’s duration to about an hour.

True, it shouldn’t be applied on dramas that were shot for higher number of episodes.

I don’t have any problem with short C-Dramas, but if a drama was originally shot for a higher number of episodes and then shrunk down in post-production, that’s something I don’t like.

I believe it’ll air after Harbin 2025 so that it could ride on its coattails.

The total duration of 22 episodes, each 45 minutes long, is equivalent to 16 episodes, each lasting one hour. So, this 23 episode C-Drama is almost equal to a full-fledged 16-episode K-Drama.
Don’t get me wrong—I wish it had 32 episodes, but alas! ._.)
