I get you! We all want to see them meet each other in the real world, but censorship rules will force the creators to frame all the adventures and relationships as a ‘dream.’

Man, at least let them exchange smiles. ._.) I don’t know why they have to bring the lead back into the real world at the last minute of the final episode. They could bring him back with two or three episodes remaining and use that time to build and wrap up the leads’ relationship in the real world, too.

Yes, but him meeting with everyone in the real world sounds very difficult to execute story-wise. The audience can somehow accept the trope where the leads miraculously remember everything, but everyone? That sounds illogical.
He's probably gonna fall for the other girl so he's of no consequence
Oh my God, your comment had me in stitches, haha. To tell you the truth, I also skipped most of the parts involving him. However, when I rewatched the episodes, I noticed these potential hints and conjured up the aforementioned hypothesis. I thought they won’t create a main lead with no presence throughout whole of the drama. They will have him play some role later, pfft.
He's probably gonna fall for the other girl so he's of no consequence
But they could just keep him as her friend if his feelings were going to have no consequence. I think his presence will become an impediment to the leads’ relationship, as was hinted at when his father asked the SFL whether he was worthy of her now.
I really hope the ML stays in this world. I know it's unlikely to end that way, given this is a Chinese drama,…
Due to Chinese censorship rules, I believe his return to the real world is inevitable. In my opinion, following the typical framework, the drama will likely end with him and the princess meeting in the real world. The director will subtly hint that she remembers everything without explicitly confirming it. They’ll exchange smiles, and—fin! I hope this drama proves me wrong, but since it’s a C-Drama, the chances are slim. ._.)
I wonder how the screenwriter will have her move on from the ML and fall in love with the SML. At the moment,…
They could go with the first option you mentioned, as both the SML and SFL would be heartbroken and might find solace in each other’s company. I doubt the second option you mentioned, as the hitherto provided hints suggest she has romantic feelings for the ML, not just familial love.
I already feel bad for SFL, hopefully she will be paired with SML by the end.
I wonder how the screenwriter will have her move on from the ML and fall in love with the SML. At the moment, she is head over heels for the ML, and it’s the same for the SML, too. I hope they make the process feel natural, organic, and believable, rather than having them suddenly and abruptly falling in love with each other.
As they say, “All roads of a K-Drama lead to a childhood connection.”
Of course, the ex would be a jerk because they weren’t destined to be with the lead, lacking any childhood connection. This jerkiness is used to show they weren’t fated for each other.
As they say, “All roads of a K-Drama lead to a childhood connection.”
Dang, I forgot the important K-Drama fact that MCs are supposed to be destined for each other, haha. The writers have to strategically spread hints throughout the drama to prove this point.
As they say, “All roads of a K-Drama lead to a childhood connection.”
I don’t understand why K-drama screenwriters don’t believe that two strangers, without any childhood connection or prior incident, can fall in love, pfft.
So all of a sudden SML love for the princess faded and now he is madly in love with FL whom he have trashed from…
In my opinion, he simply wants to ‘own’ her. When he realised that she would no longer be his, he became hell-bent on making her his, without giving—or even attempting to give—any regard to her feelings. Similarly, since he already has the princess with him, he no longer feels anything for her. What he calls love is nothing more than a possessive obsession.
