TTWILY's official IG posted this: https://www.instagram.com/p/CRlsCIrMEHe/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link The film was done and ready to air in late February if I'm not mistaken, but translations from this post say that the movie is "90% complete" I'm wondering if the film makers used this long period of time before cinemas re-open to fix up or add more to the film? If anyone knows more than I do, please enlighten me :)
Boat is seriously too good for this show. Sun is quiet and reserved but I'm never bored when he's on screen; his ability to act with body language and expressive eyes is incredible! AND while acting drunk, I really felt like I was watching someone who's completely care-free just having a good time, not a big cringe-fest like we've all seen before. 10++/10 for Boat's acting
I've been betrayed by plenty of my favourite TV show characters but man, Kla hurt me more than any other character in any other show. After watching the final episodes, my head hurts in a good way, ya know? Nearly everything was perfect and masterfully done. So, so draining but absolutely worth it. 9.5/10
I interpreted it as peer pressure - so that if Sun refuses, then he's ruining it for two people instead of one.…
Peer pressure was also a thought I had! Definitely a possibility- actually even more likely considering how rare lesbians are in BLs. I really wouldn't know what else to think the bathroom scene is supposed to mean though... Perhaps she actually does like one of the guys but she's a little shy about it? Your idea works too and I wouldn't be upset if the writers went that way because I love to see independent women in TV! Either way, I really like Toktang so far haha
I was thinking the same thing...God that would be great. I don't want to get my hopes up but man. Toktaeng is…
Riiight?? I didn't want to get my hopes up either but I think it's too late. Especially when I'm not alone in thinking this lol we can hope and pretend (◡ ‿ ◡ )
(minor spoilers for ep. 4) Juno said "If Sun's going then I'm going" because she has an obvious crush on him and then my girl Toktang said "If Juno's going then I'm going"...am I misinterpreting that or are we really getting a lesbian couple?? Also the scene where they were in the bathroom and Juno asked who Toktang liked out of the three guys in their group and she didn't pick anyone,, that's a definite gl/bl trope. I'm definitely probably just thinking wishfully right now but oh my god I really want them to be together ^3^
but they said there is more than 10 ep how the hell now final ep is 10? they didnt like it or bcz of covid?
Sometimes MDL will put 10 as the default number of episode until the actual amount is confirmed. It is also possible that episode 10 truly is the last one because it seems like there will be another season. We'll have to wait and see :)
Not for everyone, considering the low rating, but I really liked it! This films requires a lot of thought and ackowledgement of symbolism. You may not immediately understand the message or the metaphors but I think that's what makes it fun.
Loved this so much! A pleasant feel-good comedy series with just the right amount of serious drama to balance it out. Everyone should give Wake Up Ladies a try :)
How can a documentary make me just as emotional as the drama did?? Well done to absolutely everyone who took part in the making of I Told Sunset About You and I Promised You The Moon- two undeniably incredible and unforgettable series that will be in my heart forever n ever :,)
This was so pleasant to watch. To me, it has a similar feeling to Anucha Boonyawatana's works like 'The Blue Hour' or 'Down The River' -Slow moving but presented in a way that keeps you engaged the entire time.
