it should be asked why these always come out when the person's career is gaining momentum, seems more opportunistic…
I don't think this is always opportunistic, cause for regular people, your school rumor or even your life "scandal" does follow you around, especially if you does something that is known with a lot of people and you work or live around the same place.
It just with regular people you move out of your hometown and those rumor stay there. People only comment when they know the story, with celebrity, their work is public so people know where to relay the information.
I was in some gathering and they were talking about their bad experience in high school and I happen to know where that person work now, I didn't say anything as it's not my story but I think this kind of things happen in regular people life, not just celebrity.
The difference between the regular people and celebrity is the amount of attention and the repercussion. Since celebrity also depends on public persona, it's no wonder that their work also get affected.

I am not sure what's the fuss about male lead that started as unlikeable or not a green flag. To be fair, I miss…
yeah, it's weird that people are not even allowed to shows a slight annoyance when someone asked their private information. People generally don't like it when their routine get messed up.

Is this the first time people watch dramas? Yes ML was being a jerk but I'm pretty sure anyone know that he was…
I still don't get why people are mad with character who isn't nice. People are not sunshine and we all go through our phase, a male lead that's rude and jerk is a trope because it works. It because people want to see them changes, like this is a drama after all and we've seen this in other genre more often lately.

I understand the harsh comments about the ML and I recognize that some were from viewers of 'My Lovely Liar'.…
I am not sure what's the fuss about male lead that started as unlikeable or not a green flag. To be fair, I miss the jerk male lead stereotype because some drama needs a pushover or some jerk to get their story arc, many popular story all include character that changes from the course of the entire story.
Some green flag male lead in story sometime is just someone who has no guts and let the female lead be the jerk because people will see it as "empowering"

For people who said he's a bad actor, they obviously didn't watch Rookie Historian Goo Hae Rung, and Hit the Top…
sorry but rookie historian is his worst acting to date,
he doesn't suit saeguk, he can't speak in the right mannerism, can't stand in the right mannerism and can't emote.
you should recommend other drama to convince people about his acting.

Yup pacing for episode 6 was horrendous. But lot of people seem to forgive or ignore how quickly the leads got…
It does feel like missing an episode, It's one things if it consistent but this week is definitely out of the pace. I saw other user dismissing your comment because you like some romance show that has the leads got together early which I don't think related to this show. Pacing can be bad even if the leads get together early and can also be good depends on the show own timeline.
Other show in the example is not a supernatural show , especially for touch your heart, it's about them working together. If how they get together makes sense then it's fine, no one is complaining that contract marriage trope get together early as bad pace because it's on the trope and makes sense.

Solhee's mother acting is the best, it such a good performance. I can see her sincerity in not liking her daughter action but also have a small thought of not saying how she hates her daughter up front. Hate the storyline, love the acting. I am not feeling this week overall, the progression too fast, male lead stiff acting continue, excited for the mystery but I still think the couple should progress next episode or the drama will lost it steam around episode 8 because of bad pacing.

This relationship has moved pretty damn quick lol and now they "broke up" already lolI'm surprised how fast this…
yeah, have a hard time finishing episode 6 because how unbelievable the progression of their relationship. I did see him struggling but he knows her for a couple of week, was even mad at the CEO and other about his mask despite how they've been with him for years. Suddenly he wants to try it with this new girl because of her pep talk? Really why? There is no believable progression and I think this drama will crash down fast. Where is this concern about people knowing his face and thinking that he is a murderer gone?
Not to mention how awkward the male lead smiling in the episode, it's like business smile and more like fake smile, the shape is right but the emotion is nowhere near.

This felt very "fluffy" as an episode, it was a set up episode to advance the relationship of Sol Hee and Do Ha.…
> Beyond that I was a little disappointed that her superpower and his involvement in a murder was largely ignored.
you wrote it better than me, I feel like episode 5 feels like a cop out and filler. It has some information but it just don't go to the main plot enough.

I think the amount of plot is fine, it's the screen time that been all over the place.

Isn't she presumed the ML talking about our SFL trying to kill herself & he feel guilty about it (she clearly…
yeah, which is why I said that it's a bad plot execution because of the scene after that. The transition between the scene is not smooth.
If you have the intention to read my original comment and the one in my spoiler tag about the scene, you'll see that I actually like that part more than the actual plot in this episode. Maybe you should chill out and read more.

This Ep5 was kinda quiet but i liked it. The cinematography is just too warm and beautiful.
I am not sure where you watch ep 6 but it's ep 5 right now.

She realizes in the last few episodes that not everything is black & white. And she realizes there's more to it…
Because it's a bad plot cop out, then the rest of the episode is also a bad mystery plot.
but well, the mystery tag is there on the mdl description and just because it's not full on mystery doesn't mean the mystery can be just an afterthought since it is part of the male lead background.

because in real life, no body is suddenly admit they don't kill someone unless there were precedent. The default is no one had killed anyone, this is the one that I think breaks the logic. It's too much to be accepted without added scene.
If someone you know , suddenly come to you and said "I've never robbed and mugged someone" wouldn't that makes you worry about what had happened?
The specific word of "I didn't kill anyone" is not in normal people vocabulary, even as a lie.

1. I have lost count on the number of dramas in which the ML has past trauma!2. Why is the FL so obsessed with…
2. It just the main character problem, the trophy husband/wife effect
but I think the reason the female lead was obsessed with the male lead is because she thought her power doesn't work on him and then they get close.

no, she said to him
"she is not dead, you saw her leave safely"
"also, she isn't going to kill herself"
she didn't said the word "you didn't kill her"

What I am saying is the turn the plot taken is kinda dumb either way, because she just took it that way and there were never indication that he thought he kills her before the dream. The dialogue is forced to make the narrative still a mystery. I explained it more in my spoiler post.

The scene didn't emphasized on that but she knows he didn't kill syaon.
I just think the statement is too big to just brush it off without some scene to show the female lead attitude. It's like she who usually cautious becomes forgetful all of sudden.

Title My Lovely Liar Spoiler
She realizes in the last few episodes that not everything is black & white. And she realizes there's more to it…
the degree of the lie is big though, it's not like other lies so far.
I've write above to avoid spoiler that she may link it to Syaon but also there no actual explanation in the next scene.
This kind of things just irk me , it just doesn't feel like the right transition.
It's better if she actually worry about him and we spend time where she tries to talk him about the murder revelation, then he needs her helps about the plagiarism, which she agree as long as she can ask about the murder question again and get the truth.
I don't know if the audience should just brush him off that he suspected to kills someone, this is just too absurd imo

I don't like episode 5.
me neither, it just not enjoyable, mismatch tone , weird plot to be focused based on new revelation and I can't care about the male lead at all. Idk if this is just the acting or both with the directing, he can be replaced in this story with anyone else cause the female lead is carrying the show.

Title My Lovely Liar Spoiler
Maybe just me, but female lead action in the beginning when she said he is lying baffled me. The lie is big though,…
He said didn't kill someone and that's a lie based on her lie detector, which means he killed someone? shouldn't you run away instead? Maybe she link it to Syaon but also there no actual explanation in the next scene. It's a forced dialogue to brush off the scene which imo is bad turn to take.
