Aside from this, the drama is not well made in editing wise, from scene to scene, the transition doesn't flow smoothly, the bgm is distracting and also the acting doesn't feel matched between male lead and female lead

That such a shame since the impression from people who have read the webtoon is overwhelmingly positive.

It's really bad, plot point aside, I think the overall production of this drama is not good.

my general rule is give it 4-6 episode since a drama can be bad on 1 episode but we don't know if it may make up for the episode later, the premise is good and it may gives you some inspiration.
and I am saying this as viewer who don't think this drama is that good, it's on the middle for me.

The editing and the acting didn't sold it for me, I hope it gets better but I can't lie, it's not fun to watch like the story didn't flow in a good way. Perhaps the webtoon is indeed better since 12 episode for 100 chapter is unbalanced

You can go to goblin page right now and you can see all the backlash. There is a lot and whataboutism will not absolved this drama from its own plot hole. I am not even watching a manhwa, what's that supposed to relate to this? just because it has happened, doesn't automatically means it's good.
Aren't goblin female lead is aware of the goblin when they interacted? She has more agency than Seo Ha.
Also my comment has like 1 paragraph about the age and most of it is about how bad the directing of the drama this episode. Aside from the age, it just not well made so far.

right!! it's so bad, in almost every scenes.
Not just the music but the setting, like background, I saw the subway ads and there is barely anyone in that subway, same with the hotel, this drama has like no extra in their normal scenes.

All of that aside, the sounds is too distracting imho, most don't fit the scene, it's off most of the time and loose me all the scene that supposed to be happy and flirty. Even in her death ceremony, I know that probably her favorite song but it doesn't match.
Also the iconic scenes is forced like why it's suddenly a spring, why she runs in the rain when she was at home, buy an umbrella. When she confess and the sister showed up, the music is so distracting.
There is a lot of missmatch that just strangely obvious. Even in the last scene which is touching, up until the scene that she was imagining it and the scene of her hugging herself looks silly, since they meant to make seoha and us saw her as being weird but it doesn't have to be this way.
There is hardly any chemistry with the male lad, not even talking as romantic partner like they don't mesh well in the scene

I like the premise and I wished it did well but the drama has a poor execution, Idk if the webtoon is just bad or is the adaptation is bad but what I watch is a barely mediocre drama. I feel the story can have deeper understanding but the dialogue and the editing , the music doesn't helps it.

I don't like fake positivity too, if you like it because you like the actress, just say it,
It's not a crime and that doesn't mean a flawed plot suddenly better,
it's a tv series, it has plot and people can't even raised a question that implied a negative connotation.

People always comes to the defense of Fantasy, if this drama is a creepy , psychological drama about the danger of reincarnated people, then it falls on the line.

in Ep 2, 18th years old Seo Ha ask the 9 years old Ji Eum about her age and she said "I don't count age anymore" and said she is born in years 940, this just rings the bells, she knows she isn't 9 and was born a long time ago. Like it's on the dialogue, people keep saying that she is still her age, she herself didn't even acknowledge that.

Goblln got criticize, you can see Goblin page and see the comment. Everyone say it all about Goblin, the problem is people who rate it high so it gives people the idea that no one complained about the drama.

All the reborn , she just have memories and her mental age is not an adult is a theory, she herself in the drama scene, based on the dialogue knows that her age and her mental age is different and she instantly acknowledge that she was born in the year 940.

On the other hand, the comment "He made her feel like she was really twelve and not an adult in a kid's body." What does it supposed to mean?
Also the boy isn't even that special, I just don't think the drama thought it through

right, she is manipulative, idk if that's on purpose but I just felt like the drama gave her a pass to do anything and wrapped it up as "life lesson" at the end of each episode like she is the beacon of light

I give this drama 6/10 and your review definitely resonated with me.

Yes, at one point in the episode, I start thinking that she always give this narrative that give "life lesson" but she does nothing, the drama absolved her for any repercussion, the drama allow her to do anything and taking her side despite all she does is talking.

I saw the ads for this drama and thought it already aired. Silly me.

I also don't get the obsession of past drama do this and do that as example Goblin. I checked the Goblin page and it's the same discussion, people talk about the age gap.

- shows flashback or previous life as adult with the skill, didn't show her training about the said skilled, able to execute the skill
- speak spanish on tv, dance flamenco fluently on tv , speak and read old hanja on tv when she looks 9 years old
- her monologue when ask when she learn arabic " learn arabic in my 4th life"

Her new person is shaped from birth to 9yo when she has nothing of these memories and the smart and courageous 9yo Ji Eum was shaped by her difficult youth and her nice personality.

The drama :
- didn't show Jieum life before 9 years old
- act disinterested with her dunked dad and her crying mother
- look at the window when being left by her mother in the age of 9 (smart and courageous?)
- act more like her 17th life with the kimchi ahjumma

I am not sure if you guys take it from the drama or choose the justification 1st and make your comment about that. This is a drama discussion and the drama itself didn't help all this justification.

I don't get why you refused to acknowledge the actual scene and dialogue from the drama and put your own interpretation and then act like everyone is nitpicking the drama, it's on the screen
