Maybe just me, but female lead action in the beginning when she said he is lying baffled me. The lie is big though, shouldn't you like guard yourself. Kind of ruins the next scene and how she has preserve herself from dangers. I don't think this is the time for lovey dovey moments and cute moments.
I have no idea what to think about the plagiarism plot, I don't care at all, can't actually care about it that makes the episode felt boring.
It's like they focus on the wrong plot this episode. The ending of episode 5 doesn't feel earned

I like the story and will continue watching , the female led imo did a very good job in their interaction, it just the male bad acting is too noticeable that I can't help not to mention it.

You can read my comment again, I said chemistry after I watched until ep 4 and the first scene I emphasize in my original comment is the yelling at syaon. Then I mention the store, his delivery in dialogue is bad which is one things about acting. It's not just expression, it's also intonation, gaze, how they deliver the line and how they are in the scene.
It's not about being expressive, I get the character is not supposed to be expressive.
Let me say it in Idol world, (as I've just learn that he is an idol), it's like he has no stage present.
He is replaceable in the scene.

It's 4 episode, it's fair to talk about acting. A movie is like 3 hours now and it's fair to judge even supporting actor acting ability and why is drama is always "wait till 16 episode to talk about his acting"

Suzy was a bit better imo in dream high, this male lead is one of the worst I've seen for like male lead acting. I just found out that he is an idol and that explain how people defend him. Drama viewer is not accustomed to see this actor on screen so we can only see him as his acting and nnot his other work, I have no prior exposure with him outside of drama.

It's not just the chemistry, the male lead has this awkward acting in almost every scene, beside when he play the piano. Like he just staring blankly, even without his mask on and his voice just sound awkward. Good actors can sounds natural and awkward but still feel like the character in the drama, this is one of the worst male lead I've seen in prime drama so far.

Even when he open his mask, it's really nothing, his tone is awkward, not like character awkward but stiff acting in front of camera. My most recent complaint is episode 4 where he open his mask and yell at syaon, it just really bad.
Stoic and cold character can be portrayed with mask on, mostly him without the mask is what makes me pointed out that he is out of place in the screen.
It's something you can see, that's how supporting actor can blend it but this male lead can't blend it inside the drama itself, it's like he is posing and acting.

I think it's fine and not out of place for the do ha to be angry to syaon, my comment is about how the acting didn't sell it. It looks awkward when he yells and it makes the scene weird.

Finished ep 4 and the only reason why Second Male Lead has chances is because he has chemistry.
The male lead works so well with the plot to be the love interest but I just can't with the acting. Even when he is angry at syaon, it just looks silly and out of place. The Female lead is really good about the chemistry, it balance him out rather than clashing with him. I believe that she is interested on him but not into relationship yet.
I remember how the male lead come to the store and see the SML and FL, the male lead acting is clearly outclassed there.
I am interested about the plot and mystery and I think it needs more episode to balance it out. Lots of things check out when you think about it.
The only complaint is like other have said, the bell for truth and lie is not consistent but the drama usually give us some explanation after that. I hope this drama gets better and better in each episode.

I am on episode 3, waiting for episode 4 until I have free time. The male lead really need to step up his game. Bad acting in the entire scene, even his eyes doesn't show anything, sigh.

I was watching this with my friend since last week and she kept saying that the romance is bad and this drama is about flashback and pool scenes.

This drama shouldn't be romance, it's not romantic and both couple don't work.
Main couple lack chemistry, second couple lack screen time.
Way better as reincarnation drama with tragedy tag so each episode can be each life, like 9 lives can be told in details and each episode, the main character gain something to unlock the first life. More like mystic pop up bar.
Should have one main character and not 2, we don't need 2 couple. Even mystic pop up has more story than this drama despite having the same amount of episode.
If they have reframe the narrative and put the male lead in the 1st life and then reconnect them each episode, it can be romantic since the viewer can see the connection. This drama fumbled the execution.

I was watching this with my friend who ask, why they have the same face in the first life? why not in other life as seen in the multiple flashback? the question didn't come up from nothing . As the drama veteran, I told her that it's there to help the audience knowing which character is the same and as I answer that, I also realized that this drama just have no idea how to tell the 1st life story without using the same actors, despite using different people for other life.

This drama presented the viewer with their logic, they are the one who build the narrative and the foundation and they also the one who fumble whenever the viewer think about it or question the drama own logic, like how the car crash scene has no emotional burden when you find out who it caused it, the sudden shamanism , the character don't being consistent with anything and keep being vague for the reason of "it will be revealed in the next episode". 10 out of 12, it's a disappointing drama, without even relating it to the source material.
