I'm invested in the succession side of this. Cha Gukhee (legitimate child but female) and Ji Seonwoo (illegitimate child but male, chairman being typical prefers male) will both be top contenders going up against Ildo, but whether they team up (along with Seo Dongjoo) or go up against each other is yet to be seen. The sudden power will either corrupt or overwhelm Seonwoo. Gukhee is more than likely capable but society is society. I'm personally hoping for a Dongjoo-Gukhee-Seonwoo team-up.

Really hope the FL actor doesn’t get hate. When a male actor plays a bad character they call him pookie and whatnot, but female actors catch so much flak from people who can’t separate the characters from the actors.

He was a child so wouldn’t Hanwool have been much younger as well? I assumed the kid was his little brother.

Looks like my faves Kim Jungnan, Woo Hyun, Cha Woomin are a set. Kim Jungnan’s character is Woo Hyun’s character’s legitimate child, while Cha Woomin’s character is his illegitimate child. I’ll have a nice messy subplot going.

Also that makes Woomin Sanghyeon’s step-uncle or something oh my head is about to hurt again.

Absolutely, he is the best among the younger ones. From the slightly older guys I enjoy Kim Kwon and Kim Jihoon.

A WOMAN OF TASTE! Definitely watch Brave Citizen when you can, it’s great and has great rewatch value, I’ve watched it a few times now. Junyoung’s best role (if you like villains) IMO. I’m waiting for Weak Hero Class 2. 🔥

Watch Night Has Come if you want, and the movie Brave Citizen. Go Kyungjun (Cha Woomin) and Han Sukang (Lee Junyoung) are excellent villains. Many cigarettes were smoked and many shibal saekkis were uttered. I’m gonna rewatch 😂 I miss insane villains.

The questions unanswered aren’t that important IMO, but they open up the possibility of a second season. If you like action comedy and high school dramas with a good cast, just watch it, you’ll probably enjoy it.

It’s giving Reborn Rich, Again My Life, Escape of the Seven with that “return from the dead” tag. While those shows weren’t the greatest of all time, they were still interesting to follow and had their fandom. Hopefully Buried Hearts is dark and heavy on the thriller with some makjang given the cast, instead of all style and no substance like The Impossible Heir.

70 minutes runtime each ooh we are in for a long ride, I am strapped in!
