OMG IU and Heo Namjoon!! I love both actors and their villainey characters, and they were in her music video for “Never Ending Story”. Nice to see them together again for a scene here!
I enjoyed the first episode, they’re setting up the story nicely. Sometimes dramas have too many characters and it’s unclear who’s who, but the first episode did a great job introducing each character and their role/title.
Seong Heeju is giving Jang Manwol and I’m loving it!
FL is rich beyond belief but still somehow “poor”. 😭
Delulu is the solulu girl, keep going! She’s so crazy showing up with that 💌. I love those “crazy FL hunts pretend-tsundere ML” scenarios, I can’t wait for the next episodes!
Lee Yeon ♥️ I’m glad she’s in this!
Jin Mu, not you again! 😤
Byeon Wooseok is good so far and is always serving great visuals. I think he’ll be more fun in the next episodes.
Has the world been conned and duped into only watching kdramas with plasticized actors who have received the gangnam-weekly…
They don’t have patience. If a thriller grabs their attention within the first 15-30 minutes, or there’s a tiktok somewhere giving away an exciting plot twist from the first episode, they watch the whole thing and rate it well. However, dramas that set up the story a little slowly with fast paced and unhinged stuff coming in the next episodes don’t do well these days because people aren’t patient and don’t want to waste their time; they judge from the first few minutes and assume the whole drama will be slow and boring. Story setup and world building are becoming a lost art.
Also a lot of people were mad a certain actor’s character dies in the first episode. They may have started for him and been disappointed seeing so little of him, and dropped the show or rated it low out of disappointment or anger.
Personally, I like cool villains and watch shows for them. Yonah Kim caught my eye right at the start and I kept watching for her, and I’m glad I did because the story is crazy as hell.
I loved the drama and the ending.I’m not big on romance, but the romance here was subtle but meaningful and…
Do Eunhyeok what a great villain, and Han Junwoo what a great actor!
Eunhyeok really made Seolah live with all that guilt the whole time. I understand why he couldn’t even think of being her man, and I don’t feel bad for him at all. Like Seolah said, he had many chances where he could have made a different choice, but he kept going on his destructive path. Ultimately he hurt the person who meant the most to him more than anyone else could have.
I liked that it wasn’t simply comical crimes of passion but there was more to it. I liked the final twist. I like Han Junwoo’s portrayal of sad, quiet villains rather than going unhinged and over-the-top.
I’m not big on romance, but the romance here was subtle but meaningful and beautiful. Thank you, Cha Wooseok, for sticking by Han Seolah’s side through everything!
I need Yi Gyeong and Da Rae to be safe...also who is rating this drama?? It's too low
The rating has been there since the start, meaning people who rated it did so after watching only the first half of the first episode, and people who are actually watching it will rate it after finishing it. I hope the rating increases eventually, it’s such a great and unique drama!
Season 1 and season 2 were two different kinds of good. I loved both!
The pacing, continuity, fight choreo, villains, and team coordination in season 2 were more to my taste, but the bromance, quirkiness of the main characters, and humour in season 1 made Bloodhounds memorable. Humour being toned down is understandable because things got darker and the stakes were raised. But I did enjoy season 2 very much and would love a third season!
Other than Woo Dohwan, Lee Sangyi, and Rain, standout performances for me this season were Hwang Chansung, Lee Myeongro (the tech guy on the villain side), Kang Minah (Gina), and Cha Jihyuk (the young cop on the protagonist team).
