Yeah in Lovely Runner they made the Eclipse fight seem like such a huge deal and I wanted to know more, but they kind of glossed over it. What made Seonjae want to leave so bad? Why was Baek Inhyuk so angry?
For D.N.X, during the fight, they just said Roy did ~something~ and the group had to disband. What did he do? Was it something serious, or something stupid he got cancelled for (like being seen with a date)? I hope they expand on it instead of just having a 2 minute scene in the finale where D.N.X gets back together and Lee Chan and Nam Dareum are happy because of it.
Did I miss something? Does 2ml have her notebook/diary and how'd he get it?
It may be a fan message book. Fans write messages and letters, and sometimes diary style text of how the idol helped them through hard times, include photos and scribbles, and give it to their idol via the idol’s manager at events, or send it to their idol via their agency. It seems to me FL made it and sent it to Chan to motivate him when D.N.X disbanded. If it’s a diary, maybe she left it behind at the jewelry shop where Chan was making the necklace.
When Dareum was buying the “love wine” for Chan, my heart was wishing it would’ve been for Hagi instead. I was delighted when she got him a bottle later which created a cute little misunderstanding and pushed their chances forward!
Theory - Jihwan’s family has the ability to see ghosts. Minhwan cannot see them as he is adopted, but knows about the ability. Jihwan’s grandma gave him the necklace to prevent him from seeing ghosts. When Yeori fell into the water and Jihwan dived in to save her and died, the ability passed to her. Minhwan took away the necklace that could prevent her from seeing ghosts to hold her captive with the ability so no man will be able to be with her.
He’s too pretty and charismatic to be playing the dead guy in every drama. Give him more screentime! He deserves a place among the young actors lineup who will become future male leads.

It makes more sense and is more shippable if the male celebrity has a crush on a female celebrity. They have the same routines, their work and work hours are similar, they both have to hide from paparazzi, they have to maintain fitness and skincare routines, they have to go to award shows and brand events, so doesn’t it make more sense that celebrities would relate more to each other? And admire each other because they know how hard their work is? Like a male action actor might admire a female action actor for doing action scenes he knows is difficult.
I think they made a mistake making Lee Chan and Yoon Choyi exes; if she liked him and reached out to him and he slowly fell for her and we got a second couple, that would’ve been cuter and more satisfying IMO. A lot of women ship on-screen couples (Son Yejin - Hyun Bin, Byeon Wooseok - Kim Hyeyoon, Cha Eunwoo - Moon Kayoung, Jeon Soyoung - Baek Sunho) so female viewers would love this storyline too.

There was a little storyline in Ghost Doctor where Rain / Jung Jihoon had a lot of photos, merch, and cute stuff of a female idol. It turned out she was his patient since she was a child and he saved her, and watched her grow up and have a beautiful career and was proud. It wasn’t proper fanboying, but it was nice to see a man in a serious profession (played by an idol himself) have this little shrine for a female idol he supports, it was so cute! 🥺
Sky Castle had this female idol the doctor ahjusshis were fawning over, and dancing to her music and celebrating every time she visited the hospital (but being professional in front of her). That was fun too, seeing people in serious professions enjoying idol music and fanboying a bit!
Doona! had this storyline where the female idol thought the male housemate is her sasaeng (obsessive / stalker) fan, but he had no idea who she is. It was kind of funny watching Suzy in confusion because she’s like THE most well-known female idol globally (besides IU).
I think it was My Lovely Liar (or could be some other drama) had this singer who liked ML, but ML’s friend or manager (I think? or her own bodyguard or someone) liked her. In the end she gave him a chance as far as I remember, it was cute!
Those plotlines were really fun to watch but they were secondary storylines. A drama with a popular female idol and a fanboy who’s struggling with courses and work etc and finding happiness in fanboying, then this goddess finds beauty in his simplicity and they help each other through their struggles would be so good! (Of course done respectfully where he’s not actively stalking her, they just come across each other.)
It’s a very common plot 🤷🏻♀️ Replace the idol with a movie star, an athlete, the most popular guy in school, a college crush, a workplace crush, a neighbour, a handsome older man (oppa), an online pal, a past life connection, or a virtual boyfriend in a VR system, someone who FL idealises, and you have the same type of romcom story with a different cast and setting. “Oh I have a crush on person X, but person Y is making my heart flutter! 😳”. (This isn’t a hate comment, rather an observation from favourite guilty pleasure triangle romcoms.)

Her Private Life. The ML Ryan Gold (Kim Jaewook) is 🔥🔥🔥 and such a great guy, and the FL Seong Deokmi (Park Minyoung) is adorable and a great idol fan who fangirls respectfully and guides other fans to be respectful too. The idol Cha Shian is cute but not the focus or the SML. The SML (played by Ahn Bohyun) is FL’s childhood friend. FL works at an art gallery and ML becomes her new boss. It’s a really great drama and one I hold dear!

The CEO and the ex-idol / fashion director are close in age, they started a fashion company together, he isn’t the CEO of the idol’s agency. Kang Hoon and his character Kang Hagi are nothing like Jay Park lmao I like both but come on
