Love how they juxtaposed Yoon Gamin’s study struggle story and Lee Jun’s fighting struggle story! Ep 4 punch to intro transition was 🔥🔥🔥 That whole sequence was GOLD!!
it is based on a real doctor that's why it's centered on him but loved gangster too
If a writer isn’t able to write women well and knows it, I’d rather they have fewer female characters in the drama than badly written caricatures whose only purpose is to gaze longingly at one of the male characters and act stupid (looks at Uee’s character in Ghost Doctor).

I have this habit of coming back and reading a lot of comments. I saw a high number of “just finished it and this doesn’t deserve such a high rating” comments, as if other users who rated it high don’t have “standards as high as they do” (they should go watch only Scorsese then, why are they on a Kdrama site?? I’m a fan too but it’s common sense to adjust rating scales and have different expectations from Kdramas). Also some people don’t believe shows with comedy should get high ratings, only fully sad and melo ones (the comment - “I expected a serious medical drama like American ones like Greys Anatomy, why do they ruin these with comedy, it’s not needed” when the comedy is what made it special, also trailers and tags clearly showed this will have comedy). Just feels like hate comments to me, like they were watching with the intent to say it’s not that good. I’ve seen them under a lot of other good and/or popular (with reason) dramas and not just this one.
Thank you for pointing this out.So far I have seen only two or 3 comments.one wanted to start talking about the…
I tend to block some users who are there just to troll and get on people’s nerves. Makes the comment section much nicer to read. Blocked that last legend too, I’ve seen them repeatedly sh*t on good dramas with childish comments (they also commented “Could’ve been a great drama” about Trauma Code not having any romance, and maybe they were trolling but it’s just annoying to read unhinged comments like that all the time on every drama page).

I don’t believe you can enjoy a drama if the technical aspects are completely overlooked by the creators and production team. The brain picks up on bad pacing, inconsistent loudness adjustment, poorly written dialogue, etc. So most of the first batch is already accounting for all of that from habit. The second batch intends to pick the drama apart and find flaws that may not even matter, which is (in my opinion) as unfair as someone rating a drama 10 without watching it just because their favourite K-pop idol was in it.
Commenters/reviewers come in two batches. The first batch watches ongoing or at launch to have fun and enjoy the drama. The second batch sees a high rating and watches with the eyes of a "critic" solely to pick it apart. In doing so they miss the entire experience which led to so many people enjoying it and rating it high.
You have to be on drama pages before they air to know what’s going on. The user Cora gets invited to digital pre-screenings of shows via a Netflix preview club and provides early reviews (and updates them after official release). If you show up 9 days later and complain about it, it doesn’t make sense because you weren’t there when all of that was being talked about freely.
That's me, and no it's not. Kindly refrain from accusing people of something you can't prove. :)
People need to remember AI learns from humans, not the other way round. Some people like writing “strict” reviews with no emotional nonsense (like “and omg omg cyw is saurrr kewtttt@) but that doesn’t make it AI. I love your descriptive, well thought out reviews!
