A little into Ep 2 and struggling with the set up. As a cop, no matter his anger issues he should have some awareness of the violence women experience from men. He keeps acting violently, shouting, threatening, asserting dominance. His mental health issues aren't good enough of an excuse.

Title The Art of Sarah Spoiler
I did enjoy this drama but in many places it felt so confusing for unnecessary reasons, like why does it matter…
She also did not have the callused hands. Since this was brought to the detective's attention before as an identifying feature of Kim Min-jeong, it made no sense at all that he wouldn't bring it up later when Sarah claimed to be KMJ.

I cant watch this cos shes so skinny that its weird to watch her act
She is a former ballet dancer. Many people who have had intense ballet training in young years keep a skinny body shape until old age. I think you are going too far with your assumptions of eating disorders. Yes, it would be nice to see more variety of body shapes in leading roles in k-drama but to single out an actor over their body is not the way to go.

Title A Hundred Memories Spoiler
I liked that it showed that sometimes someone just gets dealt a shit card in life and that it can make it hard to remain a good friend and a good person.

Usually, in K-Drama, there is this logic that in a situation of rivals in a love triangle, the one losing out has previously shown to be somehow morally less deserving.

That is not the case here. Jong-hui didn't do anything wrong, yet she ends up in this loveless, lonely situation with her adoptive mum and has to watch the sweet relationship of her former boyfriend and her best friend as well as her friend's happy family life. We see her struggle on the line between being a friend or an enemy to Yeong-rye.

It's interesting and realistic.

Am at episode five and so far it's so many kinds of problematic! I'll keep watching to see if some of those are meant as bad examples and will be addressed and set right later. However, comments seem to suggest that that isn't the case. I hope he gets to at least keep his pink stuff.

Ngl I can't decide if the inclusion of Jennifer is borderline transphobic. A crazy shaman, gets constanty deadnamed…
Absolutely this. Also, in the first scene she is in: "You used to be a man, too." - "That is right.". Horrendous misrepresentation.

They are taking too many liberties with the timeline. The show still has Sukjong on the throne in 1728 but he only reigned until 1720. I like historical fiction but they should respect the actual history.

Woke advocates are narcissistic. And leftists have to be woke.Do you know why?Because leftists believe the left…
I knew you were a clown.

Do you really think a lawless "president" is a good thing? Think he won't kick YOUR civil rights to the curb as well when it suits him?

He's going to send US citizens to the same El Salvadoran death camps soon. He'll start labeling his opponents as criminals when he does it. Journalists, scientists, democrats, people you look down on for now. But these things escalate. They will always need someone to make out the enemy so their followers don't notice they are being robbed blank. Unless the people you think are so stupid save your all's asses, you are looking at a VERY bleak future. Assuming you're in the US. I actually feel sorry for you. For all of us because this shit show has consequences for the entire planet.

Btw: It is still "disappearing" people when the only way their families and the public know where they are is by happenstance because someone recognized a tattoo on a photograph.

The doctor who worked for the loan shark's organ trade was a bad guy, too, but they put it as if he wasn't because he just needed to pay off his student loan debt?

Look, you're acting a bit entitled. I have a job, a household and a disability. I don't have the time or energy to serve you widely available information on a silver platter.

Kilmar Abrego Garcia was disappeared into an El Salvadoran prison. His lawyer and family learned about it only from recognizing one of his tattoos in a video that the Trump administration used to brag about their deporting people. After ignoring court orders to bring him back, Trump now insists Abrego Garcia was a gang member, which is inconsistent with anything known about his case. He had special protection in the US because in El Salvador he was under threat from gangs. Trump put him in an El Salvadoran prison with El Salvadoran gang members. Nobody knows if he is even still alive.

There was also news about a gay hairdresser put in that same prison for the sole reason he had tattoos. And some kid who had a tattoo in honor of his autistic brother.

Rumeysa Öztürk, a PhD student at Tufts University, was taken in handcuffs by masked people in dark civilian clothes on an open street. She did not recognize them as police and was not allowed a call. She thought she was going to die. https://edition.cnn.com/2025/03/29/us/rumeysa-ozturk-tufts-university-arrest-saturday/index.html

I will not continue this conversation. As I said, my time is limited, if you follow reputable news sources you will find all the information you need there without my help.

Not everyone invests. Not everyone has a portfolio. Some people are not that fortunate. He should at least think…
I agree. So many people are about to suffer from what is happening to the world economy right now. He thinks it's a chance to accumulate more personal wealth. Not a good look.

People are being disappeared without due process. He's attacking academic institutions and academic staff as well as journalists and freedom of the press. Lists with words that government officials aren't allowed to use (women, diversity, etc.) are installed. He doesn't respect the separation of powers and blatantly ignores judges' decisions that constitutionally he is bound to adhere to. He removes any officials that aren't falling in line. Should I go on?

None of these things are secrets. People who are like "show me proof Trump is a fascist" cannot be acting in good faith. You know what you are and that you're just trying to spin the narrative.

Because of early eviews here I had thought this was full of sexploitative scenes catering to the male gaze but it really isn't. At all. It's a female narrative through and through, intimate yes, hot even, but never gross or exploitative. Like, no naked breasts or anything.

I also don't see a toxic relationship or toxic characters. Flawed, like humans tend to be, but honest and good-willed towards the partner.

I love that there is a cute lesbian couple story.
