Kept being reminded of the kings avatar whilst watching this, i've never watched the tv adaptation of The Kings avatar but i imagine it would turn out like this, tbh i started getting bored after like ep21 if you're into gaming then this might be for you otherwise i wouldn't really recommend this
One of the reasons i'd never say a bad word about Netflix is finding & watching things i'd probably never glance at and being left surprised like this show which i really enjoyed. As a long time kdrama fan i've never watched a C-drama before nor have i been interested in exploring them until i came across this show on Netflix and now i'm more likely to give them a try simply because of this show.
Didn't realise it was a short drama so was shocked by them getting marriage at start of the episode and them already teasing each other sexually by the end of the same episode...but it was an alright drama.
I thought this was good and entertaining, more of something you watch if you're bored rather than a must-watch as it isn't that unique or special, personally liked the ending and don't think it needs a s2. Feel like the title should've been something like Killer: the god of luck and retribution.
Right!!!!!!!! Like why would she bring a murderer to her own house????
Lool i was so caught with the blackmailing, i wasn't even thinking about the fact that they were in her house - she deserves to die even more for that, glad she turned out to be a bad person makes her death even more acceptable.
Just completed a rewatch of this and still enjoyed it even though i already knew everything that was going to happen. My only issue with this was that they had a 10yr old wearing makeup & lipstick, that whole "aww, cute kid" thing went out the window every time they zoomed in on her face and i noticed the lipstick.
Hated the ending/didn't want it to end, they haven't even announced a s2 so if that's all we get I'd be pretty sad. As far I'm concerned this is my favourite non-fantasy action drama since IRIS, I never got bored of the action scenes especially with the addition of drones & tech and the story was very entertaining, like after a couple of episodes I tend to get bored of fighting scenes and it never happened in this show.
Can anyone explain why HE had an issue with the necklace, like i assume MS left because she didn't want to get between HE and JW but since she saw what happened with the kiss why did she still think MS had feelings for the guy.
I normally don't read articles on this site but wow - one line says another season will be released this year whilst directly below it says they're still reviewing??
Damm, can't believe i would never have heard about this drama if not for a pressing play by mistake on HiTV, such a hidden gem!!! Had me laughing for beginning till the end.
Me thinking they were going to do a redemption arc with the husband and eventually conclude with her and family having their "happy ending" after sorting out issues with the bad guys.
Writers laughing in my face after killing off the husband, can't even decide if increased or reduced the quality of the drama for me as it was soo random, i mean i like not being able to predict things in a drama, but my guy just gets off'd at the end of an episode, no explanation.
Also really surprised the psychiatrist was fake, someone did mention this in earlier episode but i didn't believe them.
Kanye's rant are starting to make a lotta sense if bipolar disorder is this bad.
I don't understand what the point of this drama is, almost like a slice of life where nothing really happens, like here's a week in the life of someone with an immortal body, not much of any character development and nothing happens to the bad guys, just one big cliff-hanger at the end leaving audience with loads of questions and no second season.
This is what would happen if you went to see an action movie and walked out of the cinema halfway through....can't imagine why anyone would ever do that unless the movie was really bad and this wasn't so now i'm just confused.
