The novel author is kinda known for this. I watched Road Home first then read the novel. The novel was veryyyyy explicit. but we are talking about dramas now. they CAN'T be explicit lol yet in this one's case, the story is kinda changed it seems. the leads are rather shy and reserved. they are taking the physical part very slowly as it's depicted in episode 10

A thing called being an " introvert" exists. some people are like that. you need to be one or be friends with one to know. i think you need to be a Gen Z to learn such things lol

for real. I had to drop all the recent modern cdramas because honestly, they have zero development for romance. 20 episodes wasted material and then it gets so heated that you can't tolerate it. This is a rare drama imo. I wasn't really in the mood to wait till episode 20 for them to just have a kiss. whenever a good drama drops, trolls make a scene lol

it is! one of the reasons cdramas make it unbearable to watch is +20 episode wait for a kiss! how is this one lacking? right from the first episode we could sense the tension. by episode 7-8 things get cleared up and episode 10 is the culmination!
It's a rarity in Chinese dramas for the leads to literally start dating before episode 10! Usually, you have to face 20 episodes to see a kiss. but this one? NOPE. slow burn but at the same time very straightforward, the looks and gazes are to die for :)
Just when we thought the leads could get cozy, someone from the past shows up lol, and not just a simple ex. It's becoming a villain show :)))) give us more lovey-dovey scenes!
