The story really has potential, but if you're in for skinship and kiss scenes, totally not recommended. The leads just become a couple in the last episodes. Took them forever literally!

i watched it when it aired and i heard many say that the FL is childish. I didn't think she was childish either, she was just so pure and infatuated with romance and seemed really naive at first, but she does grow up! i think it depends on personal preferences as to why some like it and some don't.
I heard the same thing about LBFAD as well. Some can be really biased towards FLs, especially in historical Cdramsa lol

watch love between fairy and devil as well. It gives off the same vibes

They are connected but not like a sequel to me personally.
I watched Eternal love first, and then eternal love of dream. If you liked the latter, you will love eternal love as well

it's just too long. The story does get interesting, but back in the day, the historical Cdramas were soooo long and so draggy. If you're into romance, this drama does get really romantic in the middle. You just have to be patient.
Plus, i love LBFAD as well. became my favorite after watching Eternal love though

I go for steamy kisses when choosing a drama as well, and i dare say Yang Mi is a bad kisser. I don't know why though, Is it her technique?
One of the reasons i skipped many of her dramas lately. She can't just have skinship with no one lol

this is like so true for everyone! i have friends who don't like Cdramas and only watch Kdramas. Literally dropped everything i recommended to them. Now, they are watching L&P and keep telling me they are in love

I think it didn't have that much potential to turn it into a sequel. I watched it when it aired, and saw the Hype but the production was really weak at that time. The CGIs, acting, etc, all needed improvements

i don't recall much but there were two versions back then. one had longer episodes and was aired from another platform

be prepare for a heavy story, because it's full of angst

yeah the 7 days literally happens at the end, but the the whole backup story is done right :)

OBS needs a little understanding because it was kinda sad to me per se., yet i watched it when i was going through something similar and it clicked, just like it did with L&P:))
The story was not for everyone i figure lol

to participate in the contest with her and Gao, because he didn't want to and mentioned to him that it can be costly. So, she agreed to pay him with her salary

but the ending was... not good right?
