There weren't many sad scenes though. Only a short while that lasted only an episode
The ending scene was a flashback that was done in Lu Chen's POV about his feelings and how he pursued Gui Xiao too

My favorite episode is 30. They did a good job of tieing everything up and love how the feelings for each other…
Episode 30 was creative. Even the novel ended with their wedding and just the letter. The went in depth of his thoughts :)
