if you like a Cdrama with a little bit of fantasy elements( not so weird though in fact kinda cute lol) i suggest The Day of Becoming you. The ML is a superstar with a heavy past and also vulnerabilities. The FL is just like Zhu yun (family oriented, obedient, parents always present etc) and also there is a childhood friend whose actor happens to be the same as La Gao in lighter and princess lol This drama cured my withdrawal when i watched love between fairy and devil lol
Zhu Yun is irritating me so much. She is a grown woman and thinks she has to lie to her mother when she wants…
I'm originally from another part of Asia, but to be honest, Asians have the most restrict culture when it comes to family and traditions. You have to obey it without saying anything. Elders are equivalent to god (sadly), yet if you have seen this drama closely, Li Xun breaks the traditions a few times, making him someone without a decent upbringing and rebellious. Zhu Yun is a typical decent family daughter. She has been brought up this way, but in the end she turned her back on her mom for the sake of what she wanted and that was brave.
so.... what are you guys watching now that this is over?
instead of FF which i normally do with some Cdramas, i press rewind to go back and look at their eyes and their burning chemistry :))))) I know i'm so done here
