As much as I don’t like Haoming now for what he did, the moment XY left him, he was devastated. He already feels a lot for her but maybe he can’t process it. The chasing will be fun to watch!
do what I did (I was exactly stuck on episode 20 and on the verge of dropping). I skipped through and started…
Well, I didn't skip it completely but skimmed it (sadly FF). There were some sweet scenes and that dark magic guy's backstory and then the cure to the jade. I didn't really miss anything because many were about to drop after episode 20, but this method actually helped.
About the illness, they couldve laid more groundwork there because we only ever heard about it quite later in…
good point. I'm also a healthcare professional dealing with malignancies( what a small world). i get your point completely. Kdramas tend to go overboard with anything, be it a relationship or a disease but there should be a development. last drama i watched with a terminal illness ( Our Movie) actually developed the character well based on the disease, like she know she would get worse, have weakened days, etc.
I've been stuck on episode 21 for ages now. The initial episodes were great but now the plot feels so sluggish.…
do what I did (I was exactly stuck on episode 20 and on the verge of dropping). I skipped through and started watching from ep 26. 27 onwards, the story paces up( I didn't miss much by skipping). From episode 30 onwards, I didn't even FF. I think episode 30 till the finale were the best episodes.
On episode 6 now. The ML is not very much present and has minimal contact, but whenever he does show up, he knows everything. will he get more screen time after episode 6?

it is implied that he is taking pills and has hospital visits, but is it even discussed clearly? Do we get to see him suffering because of the disease from the beginning? No. Suddenly now as an adult, amid finding his first love, he is dying. As simple as that. There were hints yes from the first episode, but why should a terminal illness just be a hint? This drama's writing is very faulty. As much as I like this genre, I couldn't help but notice this issue. not sure about Korean drama fans' part. we are all Korean drama fans here LOL
