You're welcome! i'm kinda hesitant to start this one even though i watched GGS1 last year, but based on the comments here other characters and timeline development is an issue for those who haven't watched the first one.

In go go squid, their encounter was brief and we only figured that Wu Bai had a crush on Appledog for long :) it was mentioned that she was his inspiration for cybersecurity. Other than that, there was nothing, plus the actress who played Appledog seemed way much too older than Wu bai. From my past experiences with Cdramas, you need to have a previous background to understand the second part ( I wanted to watch the pillow book last year thinking that i won't miss much, but when i started, i had to think a lot to understand the relationships between the characters and their lives, so i went back and watched eternal love first.)

it seems like ages since i watched this drama! went for a rewatch and i must say i liked it! The story is really good and the main lead played along quite well!

How's the romance and chemistry between the leads? Will it take too long for them to be together and there is cringe involved?:)

Don't think so. But the main element is romance and it gets draggy at some point. It's just fun to watch for Romance in my opinion :)

why is the rating dropping?

I have seen a few Jdramas before :) Sometimes the ratings are misleading i agree:) yet sometimes they are accurate :)) i watched share house despite the low rating and i wish i never watched it :)))

I know it' s a bit too early to ask this, but those who have started watching this, how is the chemistry between the leads? Is it gonna be a good romantic drama? I have seen go go squid before and am familiar with the background story :D

I haven't watched it just yet, but i think the confusion is caused by the void between Go Go Squid and this one :)

I'm glad i found this one! Clearly one of the best romantic Cdramas i watched so far! The chemistry and kiss scenes were marvelous, minimum cringe or drag, the second lead had an intriguing story too. Definitely a must-watch if you're in mood for love and don't want the cliche love triangle or Jealous ex showing up with conflicts:)))

Maybe there will be another sequel next year :)) Focusing on the couples lives after they got married :)

Sometimes the chemistry is there, but it is so fake and unbelievable that people leave the drama halfway :)) I'm a sucker for good chemistries :) In some Cdramas i have seen recently, the chemistry is there and is strong too, but the characters can't convey the message or kiss properly :))))))
