On episode 15 and i agree with you but it's pacing up again.so episode 7/8-15 is just slowly them building up the characters but its slow.

Cdramas weren't bigshot before but they are now and have many watchers but the ratings are actually reasonable. kdramas, on the other hand, are only bad ratings or very high ratings. literally ratings between 8.2-8.4 are nonexistent. no idea why

The same thing happened with another drama I kept up with a few months back but when true fans came and gave good ratings the rating went up.

This is only happening with kdramas! Cdramas all have good ratings if the drama is good. You see ratings like 7.8 with Cdramas that are pretty bad. Kdramas are mostly getting bad ratings these days on MDL.
