quite early on they get married again( episode 7-8 ish). No breakups but there is a love triangle( yet the FL chooses the ML in this life but the SML is there plotting mostly till the end)
It's particularly frustrating for novel readers because the essence of the story is lost and it all becomes about…
That's the thing. different tastes. I don't like to anticipate much and like more direct scenes. It gets on my nerves to just THINK what will happen to the leads rather than seeing them do it. but, the double has a rating of almost 9, so many must have loved it. Just like with the case of love between fairy and devil where there were many haters and also many lovers, this happens.
Also, i have noticed not many love second chance romances when it comes to dramas. I personally enjoyed TPR mainly because of the second chance they were given and they used it right the second time :)

I get your point but since i haven't read the novel, i don't feel it much. I'm kinda used to the messy way chinese writers write dramas LOL I don't know if you have read novels like 10 miles of peach blossom or not. That was the biggest disappointment for me because i read the novel and watched the drama and compared the two. But i liked the drama anyway. Some writers need to take classes or courses imo.
I haven't watched the double but i'm planning on it yet everyone says the leads have no skinship and the very few kiss scenes are very minimal.
if you haven't finished it, please don't the read the comments here. that totally ruins the drama because you're…
yeah it's not to everyone's liking anyways. I was personally influenced don't know why. it did become a bit draggy in the Middle and i did FF some scenes to be honest lol
