don't read the comments please. even if you really love this one, it will ruin it for you. some users went overboard with this one and quite fanatic tbh
9.5/10 because i too wanted more of zlh but you cant always get what you want. i did enjoy a very female lead…
no really people are hating here and that personally ruined the last few episodes for me because it was like my brain was programmed to hate on everything :(
It's particularly frustrating for novel readers because the essence of the story is lost and it all becomes about…
I get the frustration, since i'm an avid reader myself and whenever i read a novel and hear of an adaptation, i really like to see all the characters alive. Yet, this doesn't always happen. I have had the same experience with so many Chinese dramas from the time i started watching them( almost 10 years ish). This drama is no exception. Chinese writers suck most of the time. They don't know how to write when it comes to adaptation.
Actually, i'm quite picky when it comes to chinese dramas. I have watched the majority of hyped ones and those very much underrated, and it took me months to watch another xianxia. I still think despite the faults this drama showed a good development and there weren't loose ends. And the comments here totally ruined the last 8 episodes for me. This a drama not the novel anyways!
I don't get the extra hate this drama got after episode 32. Actually, in the middle, the drama got draggy but the last 5-6 episodes were really deep and full of info, as all the characters started narrating what they saw in their past life. it seemed like pieces of a puzzle coming perfectly together. By episode 39, we finally know what happened in complete detail ( Even SRQ that everyone hates told everything from his own perspective).
I haven't read the novel and i don't have plans to do it, but i don't see the extra bitterness some people have for the characters because the novel followed a different path. Novels and dramas don't necessarily follow the same path and the adaptations we see are never the same anyway.
However, i do agree that PWX's character suddenly disappeared and SRQ became the lead but i think Chinese writers need to learn to balance out characters. This is not the first time I'm seeing such a mess in the hands of the writers.
Well done! I laughed at this part "There is a very evil SML dressed in white and has an angelic voice." 😂 I…
I loved this drama. i actually regret reading the comments in the past few days. I didn't hate LR the way everyone did or never thought PWX was a dumbass lover( Even SRQ didn't bother me much. he had a background story to tell). The comments ruined it for me personally, to the point i lost interest after episode 32 but watched it and i'm glad i did. It was a beautiful drama( especially for someone like me who likes Romantic dramas more)
