I'm struggling to understand why this drama is NOT No 1 or reached HEAT index. Why is Lonely Heros Journey No 1 on ratings chart....btw I'm a fan of Joseph Zheng but still !!!

Lingquan Town was such a love bubble to enjoy...usually we wait till the last episode for 5-10 mins of loved up sweetness. We got spoilt with 10 episodes of' honey'...even though we knew it had to end and couldn't wait for it...reality hits hard.

Thanks....I've seen production houses do this ( change schedules) but this is the first time I've seen them string out an arguably well received drama in the middle of the story! Its so frustrating.

Yes, we all couldn't wait for the payback and angst to come CXZ way... we know its here now but please NOT too long like 10 episodes worth! See be careful what you ask for....hehe.

I saw ZWY for the first time in A Long Way Home ( Forestry Industry in transition in the 1970s...riveting right!) BUT he kept my interest as one of the key characters to the end -I thought this guy can ACT and he looks good too. Like you, imo, its very hard to find younger guys who can act well. There are good competent young actors like Zhang Xin Cheung who get roles ( scored highest across all Performing grads in his year I heard) but do not reach the fame and role opportunities of more attractive"' and 'popular' young actors... I will not mention names. I guess its all down to business and numbers.

I watched her with PGY in Have a crush on you and thought maybe some talent here ( at least she was willing to participate in intimacy...then the furore over Fireworks of my Heart stopped me from investing my time. She actually made apologies?...but heard it was very poor scriptwriting - can't comment as didnt'watch. I then saw her in a minor support role in JOL2 where she took a different character ( not the siren, not lovesick but ordinary girl of the times..who dies - brief appearance) so nice segue away from starring roles. Point is I'm really enjoying her in this role as think it suits her classical womanly beauty.

I agree with your sentiments. Everyone is different everyone wants different things from the precious spare time we have. Time is finite. See the tags......its an office rom com with relationships of life - work,family,peers. This,imo is not a drama where there are "messages of socio political cultural nature" to be conveyed. Its an easy watch for those who chose it. Nothing more nothing less.

imo, Only for Love is the worst C drama Rom com I've had the pain to regret. The time I spent hoping that there would be an uplifting moment. Nothing..zilch..zero wasteland of emotional desert. Nothing against the actors ( I love Miles and a few of the other Leads too) but the script and production was a waste of money. I heard some of the Leads wanted out of the production but were signed up by their companies. And the worst is that Netflix actually added that to their playlist - the worst example of C drama. Unbelievable!

Do we need ponytail girl? Is she adding anything to this drama? A boring trope. Interesting tension and development in RJ and ZFG relationship. I look forward to see what happens.

After all the twists and turns of this drama not minding the imperfections of life and story, it delivered a perfect ending, in a box, wrapped up with a bow. Their love was intact till the end.

Yes, yes, yes, FL has not shown/conveyed/spoken of her pain and reflection ( quivering lips and tear filled eyes dont always cut it...in RH they both expressed their regrets of the choices and actions they took in the past...this explained and supported the speed of their reunion to baby/marriage) BTW,... I was HOOKED on The Red Sleeve - a true classic......cmon attackers there you were told by the Director of TRS that this was a true historical...you cannot make people ündie", change history and you had to get the tissues ready.

Yes, I agree. Loved Road Home and the character reflection and mature growth, Enjoy XK and have a soft spot for him. I'm up to Ep 30 and have been disappointed by the writing. I have not read the novel nor do I intend to as this is,imo, an adaptation which should stand on its own. See the diversity in interpretation of characters and events can be interpreted in one way as engagement of the audience however what I'm noticing is confusion and people wanting clarity which can mean the scriptwriters are failing to tell the story convincingly and succinctly. People are getting lost on the journey.
