Its one of the best take-downs I've seen in a historical C drama.

Ye, I loved the way the horses were arranged and the dramatic effect of black horses. Oh the lone herald who initially I thought was a dying soldier...then came to life to welcome the army home.

I really hope they do the ending well as that will make or break this quality of this show.

Absolutely true re Long Ballad which I dropped after a few episodes. I saw little chemistry between Dilreba and WL. They seemed a mismatched pair and hard to see the attraction. Whereas, it makes sweet sense for ZLS and WL to be together. They are of similar ages and have a natural rapport,imo.

Excellent point about food insecurity which is pervasive throughout CSS need for freedom of choice for herself. Interestingly she has never seen that marrying a wealthy person was an answer to her situation. I'm going to rewatch some earlier episodes as so caught up in the momentum going forward you can forget key motivations.
