imo, I thinks she's getting quite disillusioned in her vids. If shes not enjoying viewing she should take a break and come back refreshed otherwise its a skewed, disinterested and skeptical viewpoint she portrays. OF course shes entitled to her views, we just don't have to click on.

Finally ,imo, there is an oasis of a C drama historicals that is actually worth watching, no FF, no dropping after a few episodes We've been dying of thirst after a long ,tedious and repetitive year/s of Chinese historical dramas that look like they have all dropped off the Temu delivery van of dramas. Yes, I know we've had JOL2 but we kinda all knew what we were going to get. We knew the playing field. Its refreshing to see the FL getting her teeth into the role and giving it her best . I'm not going to comment on other "stars"" on recent shows who have no chemistry or even the ability to act after all the productions they've been on. And we cant even return or exchange the time spent on them.'Wish they would give out warning labels on some C dramas...lucky we have the Comment section for International viewers!
I wasn't going to view this one after year/s of disappointment ( some stars are past their prime and should move on from the carousel they ride to make money)'but glad I did. I don't know how this will end or develop however at least I'm not sighing or rolling my eyes.

These short dramas are getting very popular to view as its easier to cycle in and out rather than a 30 +episode drama which can be quite repetitive with lots of filler episodes where nothing happens. Short dramas usually keep the pace going though editing can be choppy for some. ML is a star and hope he gets more dramas to support his career.

HE is really talented and skilled . Why are we not seeing him lately and we have to see other imo much less talented actors grace the screen...often with no chemistry with their leads? So sad.

Excellent observation and events summed up. One query I have is that while the older trio of gentleman know that FX is the Emperors son.... why haven't any of his sons suspected or inferred. Surely they have some degree of intelligence to deduce/ask a question....if your Dad says dinner for family and why is FX there does none of the Princes suspect? Or is Emperor so domineering they just go with the flow? Surely the Mothers of the Princes will have some idea/back story and may have shared it with their sons to "protect?. This part doesn't make sense to me.

I agree Second Prince is doing a fine memorable job as a crafty, malicious rival. At least he is memorable and his scenes great to watch whereas for me the CP is conveying no emotional connection to me. Right now his demeanor is bland.
