Basically the drama is not a love story. So it is not a matter of happy or sad. However, the end was satisfying in my opinion.
To clarify my point, I condemn children who leave their parents to the care of others when they are perfectly capable of doing that on their own. And if they really had no other choice, they should visit them as often as possible to make them feel valued.
After watching episode 11, I was impressed with the writer's scam. If it wasn't for the clever fake young love story at the beginning of the drama, I might have avoided watching a plot that revolved around an Alzheimer patient. Instead of following a traditional tear-jerker, we were pulled into a romance, comedy, and a melodrama as a trick to force us into something more fascinating.
It's always heartbreaking when I see children abandon their parents completely. Such people are heartless and should be ashamed of their actions. In my opinion, care centers should only be considered for elderly people that no longer have any relative to support them.
Angry Mom is a must watch! ♥
This started as disturbing, moved to interesting, after that boring, and ended with depression.
Lets hope Netflix improves with their choices :D
I saw the Girl from Nowhere on Netflix and thought it's a school mystery but it's not. Each episode talks about a different story and they are all dark and the first 2 episodes I watched so far are about rape.... I'll just finish the damn thing but won't recommend it.
I think Netflix need to pick better Asian dramas to represent. Many disappointing ones so far.
YOU ROCK!! ♥♥♥ So many statements I absolutely agree with. That "multiple rape attempts, emotional and physical abuse isn't my definition of being cute and romantic," is so true. I can't understand how people enjoy a story that contains a passive female lead that falls in love with a bad guy and accept bad treatment from him (lots of Japanese and Korean dramas/movies are like that), or the weak female lead that cries all the time *ehem* Memories of the Alhambra *ehem*.
Memories of the Alhambra: This was a complete failure in my opinion. The story was all over the place and dragged on to a very sad point. The only reason I completed this drama was because I had it also on Netflix. I love Park Shin Hye and I am a fan of her acting but I think she chose a very disappointing role. Watching her cry a LOT was annoying and depressing.
Meteor Garden: I LOVED this drama. I am a huge fan of the Japanese version but it was like a new experience while watching this adaptation. I completely recommend it because it is a very satisfying watch.
Anyways, thank you for writing this article :)♥
PS: light pink hair for a delinquent is good in anime but in real life it looks funny xD
