it's hinted at the end of episode 2, that her sister was not willing to marry the ML, and he asked her like "is your sister going to marry _____(i think that guy who hee Joo was going to marry was an asshole)", to which the sister replied yes, so he was like the marriage will happen as scheduled but the bride will be changed

Hands down this was one of the best dramas I have watched in a while, most of the people don't like these kind of dramas but after reading the comments, i can see that there are ones with the same mind as me, I'm rooting for more dramas with Landy Li💖, I loved her portrayal of Jiang Ci, this drama was on my watch list for a quite a while since I'm obsessed with xianxia now but this drama made me fall in love with "wuxia" genre, i did love xiao wuxia too 😂

A great movie, please watch it y'all. it gives us awareness about child abuse. IDC what others say this gets a 9.5/10 from me. made me cry for the whole movie literally and i realised I'm grateful to have a great mom
