i agree but you don’t tend to hear anything w chinese dramas. they get shelved for years and then sometimes, rarely, released (and you can tell because of clothing, filming styles, etc. that they’re old). but i really don’t see immortality being released because actually unfortunately quite a few major plot points and themes are banned.

I liked it. I think you just need to have your expectations for what this is; it’s a short, simple drama. No high stakes. 99.9% unserious. The sound quality isn’t the best and the scenes kind of jump all over the place. But it’s a funny and fun quick watch~
