Yes! Eager to find out what he has been hiding all this time and why he's so bizarre.
@etoks21 Lol yeah, the serial killer thing is definitely a bit much but he has a dark aura around him I didn't really notice on the first watch. I thought he was just an antisocial guy who was overly protective of Sei. And a weird dude who doesn't like TV and acts weirdly fascinated with Sei's foot injury (that scene also gets even weirder on the second watch).
The thing he said to Sei in the past about never wanting to date anyone is probably the most interesting thing. Nothing wrong with not wanting to date but it's bizarre that he's made a religion out of it and instead establishes this strange codependent non-relationship with someone he knows has romantic feelings for him.
I like the thing you say about him possibly having a dark secret that makes him feel unworthy of intimacy or maybe even love. What an oddly fascinating character.
I'm wondering about the e-mail mishap in the beginning and the significance of Sei's two love interests sharing the same name...
Did I miss something or has it actually been established why Sei is using Fujisawa's name (Kazuaki) in his e-mail address, for him to be receiving Hagiwara's e-mail in the first place? It only just hit me as strange upon a rewatch.

Same! Even if their arrangement is very strange, I kind of understand it from Sei's point of view, but not the other way around... so I'm looking forward to hopefully see it explained.
I've been rewatching to find clues. In the first episode he comes home from a mysterious walk at night and says "Sometimes I can't stop my impulsiveness." I know my imagination might be slightly getting the better of me but this obviously means he's a serial killer.
Seems like Fujisawa is going from sociopath to full psycho in the next episode... The actor should think about being in a horror show, he is giving me chills. Great performance.
Not going to contribute to the conversation about cheating because I find it a little dramatic, but I'll just say episode 5 was the best standalone episode of a show I've seen in a long time. Great flow and writing. I like how Kazuaki and Sei's relationships with their respective"partners" are described very ambiguously, yet the characters feel very authentic. I struggled a bit with understanding the connection between the characters in the beginning but it was still interesting enough for me to stick around and now it makes complete sense. Also, the dialogue is so refreshingly romantic without being tacky which is a huge strength in Japanese dramas in general, I think.
Soooo I haven't fallen in love with this show like I expected to, sadly.
To me, Thame and Po became a little too sugary sweet, too early. If that even makes sense. Don't get me wrong, they're cute and I can tell they have amazing chemistry, I'm not blind. But I didn't like how they became friends already in the first episode. I would have liked to see a little more ping pong between them, it would have made their dynamic so much more interesting. They seemed to have feelings for each other beyond a crush almost immediately (even if Thame didn't realize it until later) and they have been acting all lovey-dovey ever since.
I'm missing the believable obstacles that makes the "reward" of them finally getting together so much better. Jun doesn't feel like a real threat, his weird antagonistic behavier seems more like filler. I would have liked to see Po struggle more with trust issues after his ex. Maybe Thame trying to push Po away after realizing his feelings. Again, so them getting together would have been that much sweeter. This is obviously just based on my own preferences.
Actually, I have kind of the same issue with Mars. They got back together too easily and the conflict was over too soon. That's why I'm struggling now to stay invested.
Anyways, sorry for feeling the need to vent. I'm happy so many people are enjoying the show.
I just noticed we now have a number of episodes??? I checked for other sources and could only find IMDB which also states 8 episodes. Dying for more info/confirmation.
Okay stop gaslighting people, he never gave any statement or post any about racist and anti-black stereotypes.…
"And because thai people follow chinese and korean beauty standards they generally fine white skin color more attractive it doesn't mean they're racist or discriminate against brown/black people. "
I've been building up my anticipation for this for so long now that I'm worrying I'll actually get a heart attack at the first sign of new promotional stuff... When there's a poster or info on the amount of episodes or whatever I'll probably go into shock
I need William and First (from The Eclipse) to star in something together as brothers immediately. They're both so expressive in this super intense way that makes me feel like they're staring into my soul.
