Is this show actually filmed in China? I'm so fascinated by how a show is produced in the same country that bans it from airing in said country. I'm very new and clueless to this phenomena so can anyone explain a bit about how it works?

And like, what is done to protect the actors and crew? It must be such a vulnerable position to be known in your country for something that's technically illegal to even broadcast,

That's one of my fav parts about this show, it's so genuinely funny 😭 Especially Wu and Dr. Jiang's convos have some comedic gold.

Things are moving so quickly now plot-wise, every episode is so delicious 😭😭

It almost felt like he was saying it more to himself, in realization. That moment holds so much significance.

Also, Chi Cheng not even giving Yue Yue the time of day after she betrayed him and just sending his assistant to break up with her is so sexy of him.

By the first couple of episodes I was like, this is fine I guess? Seems fun and lighthearted.

Cut to now, I am literally thinking about this show every single hour I'm awake lol. Will probably start dreaming about it, too. I'm surprised by how addicting it has turned out to be.

This show is so addicting, damn. And the episodes go by so quickly.

I love how this is 24 episodes but Wu Suowei pretty much has Chi Cheng wrapped around his little finger by the 2nd episode.

In certain scenes, from certain angles, it's actually uncanny!

I'm not expecting a happy ending, either. I think the official Netflix summary mentions the word "Tragedy." I don't even necessarily need a happy ending for it to be good. All I'm asking for is a real love story and not just one of them having a crush on the other 😭

I stg if this turns out to be unrequited love while I've been waiting for it since the beginning of time...

The relationship between the two mains is so admirable, honestly. They communicate, they're honest, they apologize for their mistakes, they learn from their mistakes... I'm kind of amazed. But let's see how long it lasts lol.

Same. I can't stand the music that appears whenever they have a s*xy scene and the acting is not always great... But the leads sure have chemistry.

^ My issue exactly! There is nothing wrong with their chemistry and they are adorable, but the unresolved tension should have lasted longer considering there's 12 episodes...

The rating can also be because of the story which I find kind of intriguing...

I'll agree, the acting is not amazing... But it's not terrible, either. It simply shines through that this is a series that has a lot of first-time actors in it. But I think there's definitely potential for improvement.
