Just finished episode 4 (raw) and I have to say, this chemistry is on an entirely different level. Even for jbls which is already in a different league to begin with. 'Nuff said.
LOL this show is basically messy soft porn but what the hell. I'm enjoying it as long as I turn my brain off. I like the crisp production and how unhinged the characters are. Also, the chemistry between Zouey and Teena is not a joke to me..
Boston and Nick have had the most sastifying development out of all the couples, in my opinion... Can't wait to see Boston being hit on by Boeing next week and for him to be like "Nah I have a boyfriend" 😭 (i'm manifesting)
At this point I'm more emotionally invested in Nick and Sand's FRIENDship than Mew and Top's relationship. There's just no way that train wreck can be salvaged in my eyes.
All I can say is, something shifted in the (or, at least in MY) universe with this show. Utterly mesmerizing from beginning to end. My only regret is that we didn't get to see how their first kiss happened and the amazing awkwardness that undoubtably must have surrounded it. But I guess we're supposed to think it naturally just *happened* in the same way they naturally moved in together... And that even though it was clearly an expression of both of their deep feelings for each other since college, Yoh still probably mistook it as another "chore" similar to housework because of his own insecurity and the fact that Mizuki is just about the worst communicator in the world. Thinking about it just makes it all the more satisfying how Yoh finally realized the true nature of Mizuki's (and his own) feelings.
I love how even though it comes across in very different ways, Yoh and Mizuki are both so deeply insecure and possessive of each other. Mizuki might have tied Yoh up and told him not to look at others (lol), but let's not forget it wasn't long ago Yoh was literally devastated because Mizuki called Manju (Yoh's own best friend!!) by her name and THAT was too intimate. I'm obsessed with them.
Is nobody noticing how scary this bl is?? Like this is toxic relationships 101!! Separating you from friends,…
If you think it's "scary" or "toxic", you're obviously free to feel that way but why try to force your standards on others? This might surprise you but most people are able to distinguish fiction from reality. Congratulations on taking the moral high ground when it comes to a literal piece of fiction, I guess. Personally I watch things based on what I find enjoyable, not what checks off some ethical checklist.
Mizuki being jealous of a non-existent editor is one of the funniest things I've seen in a long time. The misunderstandings keep getting more ridiculous but I'm still sitting here watching it through heart-shaped eyes.
I still can't believe we're getting a flashback episode. We are actually going to see how they first met. Probably even when they first fell for each other. And yes, the price is high... a week's hiatus. But that's a price I'm willing (forced) to pay :)
That made me so angry lol. Just when I thought the story was actually progressing.
Also me: only 6 episodes...? Hate you japan :(
