finished for Komachi. It's a cute filler drama but nothing more. the first 5 episodes were an easy watch but then it was uphill, mainly because I didn't care for the romance. The two girls' outfits were cute though

actually over at the d-addicts forum in the Akumu-chan thread, the subber announced that they are subbing the movie. It'll be done any day now. But the subber warned that the movie was a disappointment

Sometimes I wonder what kind of hard drugs Miike is taking when making movies... this is one of those times. It gave me a good laugh tho. Music was A+

Is Yamazaki Kento trying to monopolize the whole shoujo live action male lead part?

I appreciate reading constructive criticism when I'm unsure about watching or reading something popular. Even if I have to wade through pages of "omg this drama is the bestest!!!1" I want to see at least one detailed negative comment. No drama is without flaws and its impossible for every single person to love it no matter how popular it might be. So, reading conscript sometimes helps me make a final decision of whether I'm ok with the flaws or it's something I want to avoid. Besides writing negative opinions about something isn't always just mindless hate and if people only sung praises then all of the books, dramas etc would just seem like masterpieces of the highest art.

reading the plot I was reminded of that NZ film What we do in the Shadows

after watching this, the summary here seems ... wrong. There's a more accurate summary on wiki "Tomoya Kishida (Hayato Ichihara) is working as a staffer in a television studio when he hears about the death of his close friend, Aoi Sato (Juri Ueno). This sparks his recollection of the events in life they shared from meeting at a record store, shooting a short film as part of their university film club, to saying their last goodbyes. Though in love with each other, neither had the courage to confess their feelings before it was too late."

I'm not too fond of medical dramas but for Nagase, I'd probably watch him pick his nose. The first ep wasn't bad actually

they managed to get some famous Polish actors in it too. I wonder if they're going to screen it in our cinemas

Why? It's a late night drama. They rarely make effort for those :/ I know I'm being pessimistic but the Taiwanese version set a high bar with this one

Yeah I didn't vote on that category since I was confused about the parameters of that category. Up to what point would a actor be considered up and coming? I thought maybe Breakthrough Star of the Year would be a clearer category to vote on

I'm on ep 3 and liking it. KudoKan hasn't disappointed me yet. His castings are always on point as well. Nagase Tomoya is especially perfect in this role which makes it even funnier that the criminals would rather go to jail than be free and have him exclusively.

If Ouroboros was nominated for best couple it would have won that category too
