Yeah I know, but before he became the crown prince, they never really argued or bicker much. but because of his act, they actually turned into a couple that bickered a lot. In one other ep where the emperor had a stroke, the crown prince told the emperor that while the emperor was busy trying to consolidate power, he lost what was was most important to him. And I think that is exactly what happened to the crown prince as well. I still have two more eps left so I can’t be too sure

All the adaptations were done in temperate countries so your description would make sense for those. It’s not just one character, all the characters dress like this. I get they wanted them to look rich but… haha I just kinda pity the cast who had to film this in the fury of Bangkok weather lolol
