my guess is that they didn't add anything, but 16 eps were really not enough to fit in everything 😭 even now…
Maybe previously the last 3 eps were each 2h long HAHA

Exactly, the last two eps really changes your perspective. Before this I when I watched their scenes my heart fluttered now my heart breaks at their funniest interactions lmaoooo

Honestly only the last two episodes are extremely heartbreaking. You will be fine for most of the show

This is literally touch your heart lmaooo. I guess if the couple is famous enough and has a sad enough ending there would be demand for a drama w their pairing. Go min si and Lee do Hyun are gonna get their second chance in a modern day drama after their tragic end in youth of may.

Love in the moonlight and 100 days my prince had happy endings and the male leads were both CP. I liked those…
Not really cos she was the daughter of a “traitor” and she’s from a family loyal to the old king whereas his father usurped the throne. Realistically it would be very conflicting but yes I guess she could’ve ended up as a concubine since it’s all fictional but it’s an ending we never saw haha. Also after this drama, is being a concubine really a good end? 😉

'Moon Embracing the Sun' has a happy ending. But, I think it is based on a fictional Joseon king.
Moon embracing the sun was a tear jerker throughout the drama but at least it had a happy ending HAHA

No, I thought he became a king (although IRL he died as a 20 year old crown prince). The ending just showed the two leads spending time together and being happy. Running away in the tale of nokdu made sense since nokdu wasn’t a cp or king

I have yet to see a historical drama where the ML is a King or Crown Prince, that has a happy ending. Honestly…
Love in the moonlight and 100 days my prince had happy endings and the male leads were both CP. I liked those dramas but to me it wasn’t very realistic cos there was no logical way for them to be together… they always leave the possibility of whether they get together as an open ending
