Actually I don’t think this applies to this drama. The person who has the most power in this show is the king and he’s not necessarily bad or evil and he doesn’t attempt to rid the CP of his power either. The CP is definitely afraid of him but he also knows that it’s possible for him to get power if he remains in the king’s good graces. The other “bad” people who are trying to go against the CP also don’t hold absolute power so I like the way they show the power struggle between these people. As for deok Im, I think her foes haven’t fully revealed themselves yet, other than deok ro, she’s quite powerless compared to many people but she’s smart so I’m sure she’d be able to deal with them (or not cos this is a melodrama)

Yeah I’m really not sure why they chose to critique Kim yoo jung and park eun bin for lackluster romance in both their dramas? If anything the screenplay of both dramas are lacking. They are also both leagues above their male counterparts in their own dramas in terms of acting. And Han ji min’s role in Yi San was what made her popular? Idek what kind of criteria the commenter is using to grade Actors and Actresses at this point
