This drama is giving me what was missing from Lovers of the Red Sky
the romance in lovers of the red sky was pretty weak. only watched till ep 7 tho. king's affection romance isnt that great too. i guess this was the historical romance i was craving for lololool

none really. most dramas set during this period were epic sagueks like yi san and dong yi and they weren't romance…
haha i didnt like jang ok jung very much. tbh maybe try moon embracing the sun? i think both shows have this push-pull, difference in status kinda dynamic. i used to like moon embracing the sun a lot in the past but i think the male lead is too mean now HAHA.
